Based on the entire 2017-18 season the answer is undoubtedly NO.

Tristan not playing equals better defense and offense for the Cavs.

I want to win a championship. Especially with Warriors being wounded and the choker Rockets seeming like our only competition.

I don't give a fuck if TT getting hurt again limits out chances of trading him in the offseason. This could very well be the last time I ever watch LBJ turn god mode in the playoffs as a Cavalier. I hope TT's entire fucking left leg falls off.

This is the problem I see. Giving up the chance to win a chip because you want to trade your worst player? What? That is not worth it at all.

This is the problem, Thompson has played like hot piss since last Finals; he no longer deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Zizic, meanwhile, has shown enough at this point that he deserves to get all of TT's minutes.

There's really nothing left to discuss. TT isn't making some miraculous resurrection with this little time left in the regular season; he is what he is, and that is an inferior player to Zizic.

DNP his ass and leave no stone unturned this summer in an effort to unload him.

Because he has played like shit ALL YEAR, and they DO NOT sit him when he's healthy enough to play.

Zizic could have the next ten or so games to solidify his role, except the team is engaged in the insane act of thinking something is going to change with TT.
Not only do they end up with the worst player on the roster, they deliberately stifle a guy who was on the rise and starting to play with some confidence.
But yes, lets all chill out while LBJ is opting out in June.

I think the coaching staff thinks TT is contributing and they are not seeing if he can figure it out. That would mean they have acknowledged already that he is playimg bad and they are still choosing to play him over zizic. I think TT will even get playing timw in the finals if we make it there.

You pretty close to being spot on . Currently the coaching staff wants to see who will be our starting center come the playoffs . Nance or TT , with the other backing up. Zizic is basically our emergency big at this point . From what I’m hearing .

I mean I guess so be he still dropped some easy passes, shot 1/3 from the field, missed half of free throws, and got dominated by Olynyk. He's also a stat padder who goes for rebounds when other people on his team already have them.

Tristan is the Never Ending Story or the Phoenix of sucktitude. Gets a few boards because teams ignore him and we forget Olynk took him to school and the reason he gets boards is the entire Miami team was sagged into the paint waiting for Lebron to drive. Miami looked like Duncan's spurs with the way they met Lebron in the paint.

Fucking story of the game was we cut into the lead and for some reason coaching staff stuck with TT and Green rather then bringing in Hood and Nance at the 6-7 minutes to make the final run. Instead we let the Heat push the lead out and game over

Double T doing some damage on the boards . 24 per 36 minutes past 3 games . Animal mode !! Never seen so many people complain about a guy who’s just playing 16 minutes per game and doing his job. Like if he played zero minutes the Cavs woulda won by 40. Ugh crazy around here at times.

He ruins the Cavs spacing offensively, and he is no longer the defender he was a few years ago. Like it was mentioned, it's easy to grab rebounds when the other team is ignoring you to help on LBJ. I can't count how many times Miami would help off TT, thinking if he just had a mid range jumper.

Love, Nance, Green, and LBJ. If you're not going to play Zicic those 4 should be our "bigs" rotation.
