Do Not Sell My Personal Information
By the way, how terrible is the new Doom going to be? Game comes out tomorrow and there's not a single review out yet. I read on Polygon that Bethesda refused to send early review copies out. That's basically a kiss of death. If you know a game is good, why wouldn't you send out early copies and get those positive reviews out there for fans?

Yeah, that's not a good sign. I don't think I'll be buying it regardless, though. It looks fun and the MP beta was decently entertaining but just too many way better games on my plate.

I thought the single-player looked decent enough, but not sixty dollars decent. Not even Green Man Gaming 25% off decent.

Yep. I think the only game on my horizon right now is Total War: Warhammer, and even then until it gets a blood and gore mod or DLC (yeck) I don't think I'll buy it. Should give me time to finish up Witcher, Dark Souls, and all these other damn games.

Speaking of Witcher 3, I believe they just announced that Blood & Wine, the second expansion, hits at the end of this month.

Yeah, another 20-30 hours of content. I'm not even done with the original...

Took my almost 100 hours exactly to finish the base game and all the side quests that I found. That did not include doing all the treasure hunts (I did a few of them) or finding all the question marks on the map (I did that for the opening No Man's Land area and around the Witcher castle, but not in either of the big areas). I completed two sets of witcher armor, though. I would have completed all of them but I didn't have enough money or resources. The higher tier stuff gets really expensive.

Sometimes I wish I was into big adventure games like The Witcher instead of FPS games that you have to play constantly to keep up with. Haven't put 100 hours into a non-FPS game since... Animal Crossing? :chuckle:

You may have jumped the gun. Initial buzz is pretty positive. Hopefully it remains that way!

Witcher 3 DLC is what I'm most looking forward to.

No Man's Sky looks like it will be worth picking up.

Staying away from Doom. Definitely staying away from CoD, even though they are including one of my favorite games ever as an incentive to buy the new one.

And of course, the remake of FFVII will be mine when it comes out at the end of the year. Same with Mass Effect: Andromeda early next year. Possibly GoW4, although I didn't end up playing the beta.

I really hope you don't hold your breath on that FF VII remake. :chuckle:

Considering that FF XV took 10 years to make and Kingdom Hearts 3 is still in the pipeline, you should consider yourself lucky if you get that in another year or two.

If anyone is interested in buying the Final Fantasy X/X-II pack on Steam, Green Man Gaming has a 25% off voucher for it in addition to the current sale price, meaning you can get it for eighteen bucks instead of twenty-four. The code is FINAL25 if anyone wants to use it. There's also a 20% off code for Doom, DOOM20.

Yeah, I'm fine with being wrong about it. I just don't understand why they'd flat out refuse to send out review copies early if they thought the game was good. Maybe they were scared away by the scathing beta reviews? That thing got absolutely annihilated on Steam.

Usually it's just an indication that a game is going to blow. There are exceptions, and companies like Blizzard that never send them out, but Bethesda isn't one of those companies. Fallout 4 got sent to everyone.
