It is if you're picking him first in the draft.
Is it? Elite defender with a high motor who is relatively raw on offense, but can still stretch the floor. So you were against taking MKG if he fell to #4 last year then, right?
So in a so-called flat draft, you would balk at taking Oladipo with the 1st pick, but you are totally fine with selecting him with the 4th?
I am not a proponent of taking Oladipo first overall, but I have yet to see something that puts a subset of players over the rest of the prospective lottery selections. At this point, I have Len, Bennett, Noel, Porter, Oladipo, and McLemore all on the same tier.

I happen to think Oladipo will be looked back on as the best player in this draft class. I'm no expert, and I'm willing to eat crow if he turns into a scrub. That's just my personal opinion. As for the other guys being above Oladipo, if they were, then why would he be basically a lock for the top 2 or 3?
