Keys of the game
- Contain Tim Duncan. He is a dominant post player so the Cavs must body up. Don't be afraid to foul, Duncan is one of the worse foul shot shooters in the league.

- Drew Gooden needs to have a great game on the defensive side and offensive side. Must keep Duncan active while defending.

- If Hughes can come up big again like he did on the home opener then we can be a tuff team to beat.

- Lebron is Lebron, Bruce Bowen is one of the premier defenders in the league but he will have a rough time containing Lebron.

- We need steller defense from Snow to contain the dangerous Tony Parker.

- Bottom line is if we want to go far this year we have to beat some tuff teams like San Antonio on the road.

Other Notes
Sorry to disappoint you guys, don't have the time to make a sleek looking preview like Ben :)

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

I want LeBron to try and guard Tony Parker again like he did last year.....which would help since Eric is not as good defensivly against the quicker guys like Parker.....and Hughes will be needed on G-Nob

TD is TD but he can be slowed by all of our bigs but it will take a team effort

offensivly Hughes needs to abuse G-Nob and LeBron needs to be LeBron and we need to make TD work defensivly as well

Ill have more later....but im in class and im bored as hell

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

I thought Parker was out? I'll look into it..

ESPN said:
SAN ANTONIO -- Spurs guard Tony Parker said Wednesday he hopes to play in the season opener at Dallas on Thursday after spraining his right ankle.

"It's pretty sore, pretty sore," Parker said. "But I think I'll be all right. I'll see how I feel tomorrow."

Parker injured his ankle during practice Monday, but X-rays showed it wasn't broken.

It'd be nice if he didn't play...he is lightning quick, activate Gibson

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

Our bench needs to step it up. Key factor has to be Drew Gooden v. Tim Duncan. Contain him and we've got a great chance.

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

Parker started tonight... hopefully he tweaked it again. We have no one on the active roster to guard him.

Didn't Bron actually guard him last year?

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

For a few plays, but to ask him to do it for a full game will effectively kill the man.

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

Spurs are off to win a tough game on the road. Lets hope there rally will stop tomorrow night.

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

Tony Parker can kill us....sadly enough I might activate Gibby in this game over Ira just in case it gets really bad but too bad that will not happen

Timmy looks terrible with out his shirt on.....but he looks alot better than Big Z

If Hughes has another good game offensivly we can win this ball game but its gonna be tough

at San Antonio in the home opener.....maybe we catch them on an off night on the tail end of a back to back

Beating the team you have a rivalry with and lost in the playoffs last year in game 7. The best team in their divsion last year and on the road. Yes they do have a rally. I dont care if it's one game. It's one damn big game.

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

Hoping Z bounces back; this is a better match-up for him. And I think you let Hughes handle Man-U and throw everything you can at Parker. They have such a solid bench, we needs ours to be big. I don't worry too much about Timmy. He always plays good against us but not great. (Knocking furiously on wood.) We have 5 bodies to throw at him and I hope we use them all. (A good chance to see Pollard, methinks.)

Re: Cleveland @ San Antonio

I gotta agree with most of the people here. Tony Parker is the one player who will beat the Cavs. Contain him, and Tim Duncan will not be the same Tim Duncan.
