As of yesterday, he said he still desperately wants to stay here. Wally is working out hard in New York and waiting for a call. He is playing in the celebrity golf tourney in Tahoe next week....incredible golfer.

We could s&t wally for a 4.5 1 yr contract that is not fully guaranteed. Trade jj (1.5 mil), and tk( 800,000 not guaranteed), and our 2010 1st round pick to new orleans for Posey (6mil) and David West (2 mil). New Orleans will not contend next year and they will lose West in free agency most likely. We get a proven (hometown guy) in Posey and our strecth pf in West.

In 2010 the free agents are going to make the most money with their own teams (like Andy did) so we need to get the guy that we really want right now. The only mistake that Danny Ferry made at the trading deadline was not Shaq, but instead not trading Sasha for Charlie V.

The Cavs need to position themselves so that they are not chasing free agents next year.
