The Warriors are making forward Brandan Wright available via trade, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Stein cites NBA "front-office sources" in the report.

Golden State drafted Wright with the eighth overall pick back in 2007. He's only played in 77 games in his first three NBA seasons largely due to troubling shoulder injuries.

Not really of importance to us, but thought I would post it.

Thanks for the post.
It would be nice to get Wright from the Warriors. Maybe trade Jawad + part of trade exception ($1.5M)? I don't know what it would take to get Brandon Wright from the Warriors.

They would trade us Wright for a roll of toilet paper. Jawad Williams is better than Brandan Wright. Wright might be the only player in the NBA that Jawad Williams is better than.

Damn that's cold...

This is wrong on so many accounts, I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.

How dare you say anyone is worse than Jawad Williams?

Bannable offense IMO.

Wright has been plagued by injury.. not sure if we'd really want him at this point.

Injury plagued and hasn't really done a whole lot to merit trading any of our good assets but I'd much rather give him a shot than a guy like Leon Powe who isn't going to be a building block in the future.

Injured or no, is 100 times better player than Jawad Williams. Jawad wouldn't play in 97% of European basketball teams, because maybe all players in this damn world are better players than Jawad. In my opinion, Peter Crouch (football-soccer player) would kick hell out of Jawad's ass on basketball court.

Jawad would be lucky to stop me at a random park. If I can drop 40+ on Kevin Martin HS, I can drop 30+ on Jawad's sorry ass. And i'm fucking 6'1 and white.

Is this on youtube by any chance? It is not that I don't believe you (although im skeptical) I think that is rather impressive and I would like to see it.

Nah, there was no youtube video of that game. Hell, I'm not even sure if I can even find a video of the game. It really wasn't that hard, I was more of a traditional big man, while Kevin obviously wanted to be a wing. In HS he pretty much had to be a big, Zanesville wasn't exactly a star studded team of 6'11 guys. I had 30-40 lbs on Kevin and basically just backed him down and went to the line a ton. To me, it wasn't even really a big deal at the time. Yeah I dropped 40, but it wasn't going to get me looked at by college scouts or anything. I was a 6'1 big man that couldn't jump lol. Yeah, I wasn't exactly going places.

When Kevin first broke in the league, I was like, sweet, I dropped 40 against an NBA player. But now that he makes millions, and was scoring 20 a night, it became more of a hater thing for me.
