Warriors Making Brandan Wright Available

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thanks for the info. Brandon Wright is garbage though. I'd much rather have Jawad anyday

I still remember a few years ago when we were considering sending Andy for this guy...

A Bay Area writer (Tim Kawakami) confirmed that this was a Dan Fegan negotiating ploy and NOT an actual deal the Cavs were pursuing. Since Wright isn't very good, I wanted to be clear that the Cavs front office weren't complete idiots back then.

If you could get Wright for cheap than why not it could be worth the shot and a low risk move. Hasn't been able to stay healthy and had to try to play through Don Nelson's nut job coaching his 1st 2 years but there is some talent there and he's only 23. Not sure if he's a perfect fit for the Cavs but I'm all for going after and taking a chance on young talent like this if you don't have to give up any quality assets for them.
Hollinger seems to like Wright and his PER is pretty good.

I agree that acquiring him would be a low-risk move, but there would be no playing time for him unless we traded Jamison first. Maybe we could pick him in a 3-way that sends Antawn to a contender.
