Okoro was a project and the next guy you drafted is a star. We need spacing in the starting lineup.

I was #1 Okoro fan and I still think he has talent, but he didn't do enough in the off-season and they need to prioritize Mobley's development.

You can start Windler at 3 or Wade at "Forward" with Mobley.

Really doesn't matter. You could even start Love. SL needs spacing and Okoro seemingly can't do it. Mobley is just way more impactful.

Edited to remove autocorrect racism.

Someone get me the "THATS WACIST" .gif

When do we fire up the 2022 draft thread. We need some sexy long wings that can shoot and defend

bet O scores 35 in the first reg season game and windler goes golfing again

Okoro isn't scoring over 30 again unless it's a game at the end of the season when other teams have already packed it in.

We gotta start a white?

Wade or Windler. So yeah. It devolved into a defacto racist thing. It's just about shooting tho

Problem is I think Windler can't take the beating

Remember I was at the Winking Lizard years ago for some wings and Scott Willliams walks in and the girl I was with (who was black) asked me if I thought he played basketball.

I said that’s the Cavs color commentator Scott Williams….

I ate my wings solo….

The Cavs talked themselves into each 7 footer and undersized scoring guard under 6'4 time and time again.

Why? Contenders don't want players incapable of switching. So, somehow, Altman decided to corner the market.

Now I look to see zone defensive concepts Nick Nurse ran in Toronto. If the team can hide heavy-footed Wade and Markkanen as de facto small forwards in zone, they can funnel drives toward a pair of erasers in Mobley and Allen.

I just think he kind of went with what he thought was available at the time. Hard to say that he didn't take BPA, and that he was deliberately targeting non-switchable wings. I don't think he purposefully bypassed switchable wings who were truly BPA because he just doesn't like them.

I mean, the "switchable wing" who fits that ideal in this draft was Scottie Barnes. So should Koby have passed on Mobley to take Barnes?

To put Markkanen and Wade’s feet into the same category is simply not accurate. Watch both of them play defense. One holds his own. One is a total liability. Wade is significantly more quick footed than Markkannen.
