Week #14 - Ravens @ Browns - 1 pm on CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't understand all the overreactions one way or the other in here. This is a mediocre team because the QB himself is mediocre on a good day. Like, what else do you guys expect at this point? This team is exactly the same they've been all season long.

This team would be lucky to make the playoffs, and if they do they have no chance in hell of advancing at all.

It is what it is. They are who they are. Just accept it for what it is and start paying more attention to the Cavs.

The 'overreaction' is based on a season of very poor play against the teams that we need to beat to make the playoffs and our inability to actually hold a lead against teams who are in the mud at the time. Especially considering the contrast of the way the game started. The team has majorly regressed, and yes. We have had key injuries, but so has every other team. But we've given up so many 4th and long plays that I pretty much just expect it at this point.

Go Browns and go Cavs though...

I’m still going to enjoy the frustrating ride. It’s nice not being 5-8 in December and pretending we’re still in the hunt because we’re technically not mathematically eliminated.

I mean.. yeah.. but the AFC is butt cheeks spread wide open at the moment

All it takes is getting hot, if people can convince me about the Indians getting hot and just getting in, this particular NFL season has the same feeling

I mean, yeah for sure.

But the bottom line is this team has peaked with Baker as its QB. The sooner people accept that, the better.

I think everyone knows that, but unless Rodgers or Wilson shakes loose, you have to roll with him on the 5th year option and at least one franchise tag.

It doesn’t sink them on salaries and is about what they’d pay a Bridgewater level player to come in and QB.

I am not sure about your butt cheecks, but mine are not wide open.

I'm crushing hard on JOK.

Dude was brought here to stop Lamar and he hasn't disappointed.

Mothafucka is ALL OVER THE FIELD just making plays.

Knocking Lamar out of the game...

*chef's kiss

Embarrassing. I avoided this part of the forum for 2 weeks, and somehow after that I still don't feel better.

Stefanski needs to give up playfalling. It's archaic, predictable and too damn conservative. There are other ways to place emphasis on the RBs than the dog shit he does.
I'd like one of Stefanski's defenders to explain to me why our receivers are NEVER running open on routes the way every other team in the league's receivers do. FFS the Ravens receivers had separation on at least 3/4 of the route trees. You watch the Browns route trees and they just constantly run the exact same ultra-predictable shit. There are plays where the entire middle of the field is wide open and we never run a late crosser into space. It's always Mayfield trying to force the ball into blanketed receivers.

Stefanski curls up into a shell and goes ultra conservative every chance he gets. He never tries to put a team away, never goes for the throat. He always takes the foot off the pedal. It's just who he is as a coach and as a person. And he has no idea how to make in game adjustments, same problem he had in Minnesota.
