I think it's clear what certain members, or should I say member's agenda is in here.

Most of us focus on our actual sports teams and coaches/managers, players, etc, and we give them praise or critiques as we see fit. A certain member's clear agenda is to critique "others" in here as to what they write. That's really the only clear agenda for this certain member. He/she has no desire to praise or critique the team or coaches. He does do it on occasion, but his main priority is to critique other members who is sees as those evil fans.

100 percent correct. Thanks for making things so "more dimmer" for us all. :rolleyes:

Fickell going in there and telling his team "you're not good enough so we're playing this guy" is the 'most stupidest' thing that's been said about this team.

Plenty wrong with the job Fickell did last night, but if any head coach went in to the lockeroom and telling his team they're not good enough so we're going to play a guy who isn't ready yet.....should be fired immediately.
 
Got a chance to watch 5 minutes of the game. WTF happened?
 
Here's my opinion on the game and this thread.

1. Holy shit do we miss Pryor and Posey. Say what you want about Pryor's off the field antics, but there's no way we lose that game with him still starting at QB. I'll get to Posey in my next point.

2. Our WR's are shit. We can blame Braxton or Bauserman, but when you don't have guys that can get open or are dropping passes that are hitting their hands, it doesn't really matter if Joe Montana was our QB.

3. The Doug v Boobie debate (Miller v. Bauserman) I see both points and think both arguments hold credence. Fickell is coaching for a job next year. He is obviously going to play the guy that he thinks give tOSU the best chance to win. That being said, when Bauserman is as ineffective as he was last night, I think you have to consider going with Miller the rest of the way in the second half. It is apparent that this team is not in the hunt for any serious bowl game or Big 10 championship this year. Although it's risky, I tend to land in the camp that thinks Miller should be our full-time starter the remainder of the year. His grasp of the college game and playbook isn't close to Bauerman's, but when you're playing a season where development of these young guys should be our number one priority, getting him the majority of reps in practice can go a long way in catching him up to where Joe is. Miller made stupid mistakes and looked every bit of 18 tonight. But he has game-breaker skills and athleticism. To me, that's enough to give him the nod moving forward.

4. Everyone needs to cut Fickell some slack. The guy is coaching one of the least talented OSU teams I have seen in a decade, probably more. Between the suspensions and Pryor exodus, I think you all are asking a little much. No matter who the coach is this year, it's not like OSU was going anywhere. My guess is that they're two years away from being Big 10 contenders. You can't ask a coach to turn chicken shit into chicken salad.
