Week 3 (9/27): Raiders (1-1) @ Browns (1-1) [1:00 PM EST, CBS]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Give us a rundown of the hottest college assistant coach prospects.

I'm not a GM, and I don't have time to scout coaches. Not my specialty, not my job, so I can't name them. I just see an undisciplined, highly penalized team that makes a lot of mental mistakes. I'm sure (hope?) the front office sees this as well.

I honestly don't see any justification for firing Pettine.

Don't really think this team is as bad as some on here do. At least not to the point where they can't begin to win if they're able to figure out the QB position.
Oh come on now most folks who joke about it such as myself feel the same way as you, but rational reasoning for choosing changes is not something our owner is known for. We all know that regardless of what they say Pettine is on a hot seat, deserved or not.

That being said, the defense has been pretty underwhelming twice in three games when as you have noted it is talented and should be a strength. That does reflect on Pettine. Got to see improvement, I get the injuries killing the pass defense but they still are doing jack against the run.

Maybe I'm too quick to judgement, but I'm not seeing much production out of our draft picks over the past couple of years. If those spots were being filled by quality starters, I'd agree with you. But so far we still have holes at CB, LB, TE, WR, QB...

I also know no team is going to be 100% at all positions, but QB is only one factor. We still gave up 27 points to an Oakland offense that is average at best. Our defense is average, our QB is putrid, and our offensive personnel outside of QB is below average (with the noticeable exception of OL).

You did NOT just say there is a hole at tight end?

Gary Barnidge can fill that hole, and can also fill holes on the roads during his part-time work as a ODOT employee.

I think he wants to be a pro wrestler

What a dumpster fire. This team is due for another overhaul. Kruger and Whitner are collecting paychecks and Haden is either hurt or jumped the shark.

Pretty sure this is the worst franchise in all 4 major sports. Who is worse? Timberwolves? Knicks? Blue Jackets?

Definitely the Knicks, Marlins, Phillies.

They're right up there, though. Not the company you'd like to be in.

Khalil Mack looks like he's going to be a perennial Pro Bowler, Gilbert and Manziel might not even be in the league in five years, yet people still think trading down was a good idea. Classic Browns fan.

trading down was the correct decision. it was the players that were the bad choices

A trade is only as good as the players you get. And getting one good player is better than getting two mediocre-to-shitty players.

We need to get over this idea that passing on impact players in favor of "depth" is good strategy. It isn't.

1. Wake up
2. Remember personal vendetta against this team and gand fans
3. Turn on near end of 4th because we all alreadyknow, and i have a duty to fulfill
4. Waited for it
5. Posted, fresh and and stingy

I'll see you every single week until you guys get it

In the last two years the Raiders have pulled in Khalil Mack, Derek Carr, and Armani Cooper with their first rounders. Really was given hope to that franchise.
As a Raider fan what a turn around. Going from losing TWO first rounders for Carson Palmer to the last few drafts has been a god send. Knew bringing back Woodson would change our luck. We literally went into the Black Hole when he was away.

Los Angeles is going to get a good team it looks like.
