Week 4 (10/4): Browns (1-2) @ Chargers (1-2) [4:05 PM EST, CBS]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We will get the number one pick. We will draft Goff. And he will have a heart attack and die just moments away from shaking Goodell's hand.

That would be a typical Cleveland Brown thing to happen.
Typical Cleveland 'woe is us' loser mentality...

...Goff will instead suffer a major concussion after his first successful TD drive and have to retire :beee:

Houston is way worse than we are. Besides, the Browns will win some meaningless games with McCown at the end of the year. Happens all the time. We'll pick between 6-8 like always, and come away with another non-impact defender with our 1st pick.

It would be much more Browns if we drafted him, and he is named the starter on day one. He throws for 500 yards and five touchdowns, truly and obviously a generational talent in the making, and then has a career-ending injury on the last play of the game as he tries to take a knee.

Huge win today that will pay big dividends down the road for the future of this franchise.

1-3 for the easiest part of the Schedule.. good thing Manziel wasnt in there for the softest part of the schedule. if not for Mccowns injury he will be thrown in there once the Browns face the toughest part of their schedule. must be the Manziel "plan.
its also too bad the Browns are too good to develop a wide receiver who had the potential to put pressure on defenses and allow Benjamin to run 30 yard routes instead of 15 all day long.

I dont know why you guys are all gusihng over what pick the browns can get next season when they dont have time to develop young talent.. they gotta win games.

I noticed Johnny was never around McCown and Davis on the bench. Probably more drama behind the scenes.
Davis and Housler. Great use of the 53 active roster on Gameday. Great to know we are so good EJ Bibbs can't even dress.

Or maybe it's blatantly obvious Manziel sucks and isn't in the plans.

Did people think McCown really looked bad enough today to warrant putting Manziel in?

I guarantee you if Manziel gave us the better chance to win he'd play. He probably looks like crap in practice. Pettine wants to keep his job. It's as simple as that.

Actually, I was thinking of this particular group...

Gentlemen, your Cleveland Browns:

We can only pray Farmer and the rest fall on their swords like they should.

Haslam needs to man up, recognize this roster in a perfect world is still a marginal team always fighting for the Wildcard, and implement a hard reset. Play Manziel to truly see if there is hope and all the other young guys as an audition for next year. Clean house and pay proven personnel whatever it takes to build a proper organization. And draft Goff.

Worst case is McCown balls enough to win us a couple extra meaningless games and we once again draft out of range of a franchise altering QB. That looks like it could potentially happen if the D ever stops embarrassing itself.

I'm not sure this team gets on the right trajectory without completely bottoming out and it might as well happen this year.
