Meaningless poll, but lets play....where will the pick end up after the lottery?

I think almost equally important is they got rid of the stars and vets and basically it’s a just out of college team that will actually pay attention and follow what the coach asks for.

Wade/Butler/Rondo not only weren’t suited for Hoibergs style, they also have that “been there, some that, I know what’s best” star mentality that doesn’t always lend to coaching and sticking to the script.

Mason Plumlee made that point on Roadtrippin with RJ not too long ago. Channing made a similar point early in the season when talking about young teams and teams with vets. Vets can be hardheaded, especially if they've had success in their careers.

Damn, I didn't realize Lonzo and Ingram were both out. No wonder this team looks so lost.

Their schedule until the end of the month is brutal. Can't see them winning more than one game.

A nice stretch here and a guy like Carroll being traded around the deadline for picks and all of a sudden things could start looking really nice for us.

Can someone cut the power in OKC so they have to call the game with SAC up?

I can't think of a player in the association they could add for this pick who'll help them be truly competitive with GS this year, barring injury. I don't even think Anthony Davis and eliminating the overpaid deadwood would be enough.

Well, unless they added Durant...

When people look back the ramifications of the new TV deal money and how it created basically a one time only/ever window in the summer of 2016 for a team already at "GS pre Durant" level to add a league MVP in his prime, they'll understand how BS and patently unfair it was for the rest of the league. There has never been a scenario like it in the entire salary cap era and they very well may never be again. And GS fans, execs, and players will act like they earned it the same way other teams did but they didn't.

Naa. Kawhi or AD instead of TT would make it a 7-game series. Especially Kawhi.

I forgot about Kawhi. Yes I agree that he'd make it competitive. Not convinced on AD, good as he is. Of course, neither of those is guys is coming here for that pick.

The point being: no point in trading the pick.

And they still got lucky that their 2 time MVP was playing for nearly half his true market value because he had extremely questionable ankles when he signed his first "big" contract and with modern science/exercise/medicine was able to never have real consequences from the ankles.

Oh...and Durant's team blew a commanding 3-1 lead against them...with a commanding 3rd/4th quarter lead....thanks to Klay putting on one of the most insane shooting performances of all time...and then even though their 73-9 juggernaut blew a 3-1 lead themselves to lose the title....the fact that they lost allowed Durant to feel like signing with them was acceptable...so they traded one title for a potential 4-6 year dynasty if we're being conservative.

Fuck them.

Milwaukee and the Spurs should collude to trade us Giannis and Kawhi so we can teach these fucking bitches a lesson.

Don't agree on AD, but true about Kawhi, forgot about him. But of course they aren't going to be getting him or Davis for it. The point: keep the pick.
