Welcome 8th Pick from Brooklyn

Meaningless poll, but lets play....where will the pick end up after the lottery?

If I still smoked, I'd ask for some of whatever you have

I'm just a guy who sees the cold hard truth about what Vegas has as our odds against Golden State. Get IT healthy and pump up IT's value up as high as you can, and if you can get a halfway decent first-rounder, you trade him. Otherwise, keep him till the end of the season. Pump and dump.

How about this? How about we hope IT is healthy, plays well, and helps us win a championship. I hope he proves no one in the league can guard his jitterbugging ass 1 on 1. I hope he shows out, proves his worth, and we sign him to 25 mill per for 3 years in conjunction with signing LeBron to a max extension.

I dont care about his size, you don’t trade a second team all nba player for a late first. You have to see what he can do.

That is insane.

Care to check the odds in '15-'16? I'm not one to hate on people on here, but if you're of the belief that a guy who was a top 5 MVP candidate just last year should be moved (regardless of his contract situation) for a mid 1st because the Cavs have "no chance" then why would you even watch the season?

What if one of their top 4 suffered a season ending injury after the deadline?

If you want LeBron to leave, trading IT for a mid 1st is the ideal way to get it done. His biggest gripe in Miami was that Arison refused to spend money, primarily on Mike Miller of all people.

GSW is the obvious favorite, but the obvious favorite isn't who always wins. Vegas odds are also somewhat arbitrary. They set (and move) their lines to encourage more betting. Setting GSW as such a heavy favorite means more money bet of other teams.

So hyped to watch college ball this season.

Bagley is my #1 guy and I really like Ayton as a guy in the more realistic #4-7 range

Man, I just can't see someone who can almost touch the top of the backboard going lower than 5 no matter what he does this season short of getting hurt.

This year's draft will have a fascinating juxtaposition of athletic freaks in Bagley (moves like a guard at 7 ft tall), Ayton, and Bamba (freakiest dimensions+mobility ever) versus a guy with all the skills and feel in Doncic, and Porter falling somewhere in between.

If we keep the pick and it's not in the Top 5, then that was a fail...

The trade is over and done with, I'm not interested in debating about it. The point now is to maximize the assets we have today. And as I see it, that means completing additional trades prior to the deadline..

I'm looking at Thomas and that pick and hoping we find suitors to take them on and the Cavs get equal value back.

It's been mentioned Jeremy Lin might fetch a first-rounder at the trade deadline. If a team overpaying for IT nets us a decent first-round pick instead of a player equally able to help win a title this year, I still think you make the trade. Others on the team will just have to pick up the slack.
I'm going to call Midas to schedule getting the air bled out of your head you bleating imbecile.

I refuse to believe you're the result of human coitus.

I keep trying to talk myself into other guys but porter just keeps standing out. He’s such a stud. If he can improve on his ball handling he’ll be a top 10 player easily.

Just from the articles I've read and videos I've watched, Porter does seem to be far and away the top guy. I know Bagley is close, but Porter helps your floor spacing with that jumper and his length will help him develop into a solid defensive player.

I think whoever lands that #1 pick will be taking Porter.

I think number 1 pick for who ever gets it comes down to Porter or Donic. Bagley is a great athlete with crazy upside but Porter and Donic have such high skill levels at a young age it will be hard for teams to pass on them for a athetlic freak who's more of a project.

Realistic worst case scenario is that the Magic, Bulls, Lakers, Hawks, Knicks, Sixers, Pacers, and Kings are all worse teams than the Nets. I think the Sixers (if healthy) and Pacers can pull off more wins, but not sure about the rest...
