I still say that a young big is 50/50...

It seemed like Towns and Okafor were locks for success. It happened with Towns, but Okafor..
In some ways okafor is just a great player in the wrong decade. He can't play in space or on the perimeter. In the 90's and 00's he would have been a valuable piece.

Ayton isn't a "close" 3rd. He needs to work on wanting to play and be less Anthony Bennett. I don't touch Ayton before Doncic.

I get what you are saying but I still take the 7ftr with all the tools to be an elite C in the league...we will see how he does in Zona

When did I say he wasnt skilled? I said he was over hyped because hes playing in NY because its true. Some have put KP in the same tier of a player like KAT and he's not KAT level. Hes a very solid player with great upside but that doesnt mean he cant be over hyped. I dont know why you got so defensive but chill out a little bro.
His potential is through the damn roof though. No he isn't on KAT level as a player but his value absolutely is imo.

I'd say his ceiling is actually a better Dirk. That's why he's pretty much untouchable.

We're not getting him anyway. Pipe dream at this point.

I disagree his offensive ceiling is not at prime Dirk level. His ceiling is a shot blocking Dirk Nowitzki light who might actually be worse on the boards then Dirk was. He has great upside but he has his flaws people see 7-3 hitting 3s so they think hes Dirk. He will never be Dirk on the offensive end of the floor. And well he blocks shots his defense isnt great and he's softer then wet tissue paper on the glass.

This will be year 3 in NBA level conditioning. He is more Athletic than Dirk. He is only 21-22 years old. His rebounding will improve with his strength. Though he obviously isn't a traditional big in the way he plays, it still usually takes bigs in this league 3 years to adapt to the game physically and mentally.

He'll more than likely have a breakout year this season.

Lebron and PG13 would be choosing Ball and Ingram over two injury-prone thirty-year olds on max contracts, one of whom is a 5 ft 9 defensive sieve.

Lol no they wouldn't.
You should feel ashamed for making such a bad post.

If the front office decides to use this Nets pick in a trade before the deadline, it would be the most valuable part of our package going out, but we'd need to match salaries.

Would it be more likely that if the Cavs go after a star level player making $15-20 million per year, we'll try to package all the contracts we can to get to that range along with the pick? Or would this likely be a trade exception with the draft pick? I can't recall what our greatest trade exception is.

If Lebron wouldn't commit with PG13-Love-Bledsoe, then why would he commit with PG13-Love-Thomas? You gotta have something more on the Cavs roster to keep Lebron and PG13 from going to the Lakers.

I'll take the euro that's doing un-precentend things for a 17 year old last year and in his younger years. Or the 2 almost 7 footers one who's an absurd athlete and basketball player Or the other who draws KD comparisons.

The top basketball players don't want to play with scrub 19-20 year olds in LA. Never going to happen. Period.

Hm funny, i didn't see Doncic (who is better and more of an NBA sure thing right now than Ayton) in your post. I dont even have Ayton in my top 4.

We agree on the top 2... The rest will sort itself out over the next 6 months
