How long can this go on before we get him some D-league time? Might completely crush his confidence though...

It's already crushed. Anytime they showed the bench in the 4th quarter, his eyes were glued to the floor. I feel terrible for the kid.....

Everyone is going to be completely ignoring Bennett until he actually does something. If I were out there, I wouldn't be giving him the ball either.
And if we only ever play him with Cj and Jack i'm pretty sure he will continue to do nothing. Not sure why Brown pulled him after making an excellent defensive play in the first half.

He needs to go to the D League to get his confidence back and work on his conditioning.

I feel terrible for the kid.....

No one told him to hit the buffet line every day while he had that shoulder injury knowing exercising was a no go.

He couldn't workout, but he could have watched what he ate in an attempt not to turn into a balloon.

Shoulder injury or not it was his decision to turn into a blob.

What are you wanting? Them to run the offense through the guy for a bit with Dion and Kyrie? They are trying to win games here and right now, that looks like a losing strategy. Even if you just do it for 4-5 minutes, you'll be giving possessions away all to try and get someone some confidence?

Had the Cavs kept the lead where it belonged tonight, Bennett would have been force fed for the final 3-4 minutes. It's a shame they choked it away.

I dont think Bennett is fat. He is out of game shape but he is not tractor traylor.

I know Max said he would get off to a slow start, but sheesh. I don't think anybody had this in mind.

Mentally the kid is so low right now. No confidence in himself at all.

This is especially true, but I'd include Bynum in that mix too. The kid had THREE shots all game; one was a put back and another was a prayer. He's taken 15 shots in four games thus far. He had four games at UNLV where he took 15 shots or more.

I just hope Mike Brown doesn't run Bennett and Waiters outta town with his tough love approach-- we've seen it before. I'm not concerned about their talent, just their usage.....

I don't even think this is the way to go at this point. His confidence is so shot he'll just embarrass himself if they give him the ball and let him try to work. He honestly needs to a basket gifted to him. Although that happened last game and.....

It wouldn't hurt to try and run him in a pick and roll with a guy that isn't just going to toss a shot up or throw the ball at his ankles. Maybe try to run one play for him? That isn't a whole lot to ask.

Both of them (for different reasons) need a heavy dose of tough love.
