If the Cavs end up with a championship in the next several years, or are at least in contention, Chris Grant will go down as historical draft genius.

Derick Williams/Michael Beasley... these hybrid SF/PF's have such great success stories in the NBA!

Didn't read a lot about him. How'd Bennett fair in the advanced stats? Did Grant follow that trend or go away from the past few years method?

I'm vexed with this pick, but Bennett is way stronger physically than both Beasley and Williams. I hope it works out.

So now we have two undersized starters that can't guard their position one-on-one? I know there is a plan here somewhere, but I don't see Cleveland challenging Miami, Indiana, San Antonio, or Oklahoma City with that starting five.

Him and Noel are the two players I wanted. Bennett has the best combination of physical tools and offensive skills in this draft. Furthermore his game fits incredibly well with our backcourt. The Irving/Waiters/Bennett trio will pretty much be unguardable with Bennett's ability to score both inside and outside off of Irving and Waiters penetrations. Whether he plays SF or PF it doesn't matter. If there is one thing you should have learned from the NBA finals is that positions outside of center and point guard are becoming increasingly irrelevant.

Also for those of you so concerned about his height look at his crazy 7'1" wing span. Barkley was only 6'5" and this kid has a similar style of game. The sky is the limit for him.

I know he's not the most reliable source, but Reighi said we could be trading Bennett for Len & Schola.

That's great, but the teams that SHOULD have beat them had their coaches not beat themselves had great defensive centers.

Indiana should have kept Hibbert in: Would have won game one.
Spurs: Should have kept Tim Duncan in: Would have won game 6 & the finals

The way to beat the Heat is a defensive big. If he has offense too, that's a bonus.
