I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but how does this view mesh with your wanting to draft Bennett? He plays one of the so-called "irrelevant" positions, right?

It does look like the HC is the biggest "adviser" to Grant.

Bennett was my favorite player in this draft after a healthy Noel. I never thought Grant had the balls to make this pick though. I can't defend it to those who don't like it, but I'm very pleased to have Bennett in Cleveland.

I've read several opinions that disagree with that. It'll be interested to learn what the Cavs people think. That's the opinion that matters.

So is a healthy Bennett better than a healthy Noel?

Bennett potentially could end up the best player in this draft. Not a total shock. Many of us thought Grant could end up taking him.

Bennett is a PF. Can only play SF in limited minutes or in certain matchups. Fit is a little questionable but Grant went with Cavs highest rated player over need and fit.

Still hard to believe Cavs have passed up highly rated C's for 3 straight years.

The best undersized power forward ever was Charles Barkley, and he went 5th. The pick makes no sense.

I don't think so, but there must be some serious question marks about Noel's long-term health considering how far he slid.
