It makes little sense for Sanders to agree to a team options for the min.

That said, great job by Griff is that is the case.

I agree it doesn't make sense for Sanders, it limits his flexibility. However, Sanders is a highly controversial figure with a dark and unreliable history, so it's not unreasonable to think he might have to make a concession like this for a team to be willing to give him a chance. (i.e. "Hey, we'll do you a solid and take a flyer on you... but in exchange, you're going to have to give us an extra year.") That doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility to me at all, especially considering it's already March.

I am interested in seeing the details as well.

I really hope Griff is not expecting him to come in a perform. I expect him to be birdman esque mainly due to rust but if we can rehab Swish and Derek williams then why not try and rehab the biggest project in basketball

He is here, in the short term, to be a big presence inside, block/alter shots, and get some lobs and dunk put backs. I see no reason he can't do that immediately for 10-15 minutes a game, if he's in any kind of decent shape.
