I bet he was 50% at his pro day with those numbers not matching his game impact most of his time in college.
From what I’ve gathered, he rushed his return from the injury and played in a few snaps of their Bowl game against Cincinnati. Reaggravated an injury and was about 80-90% at this pro day.
In any event, it would seem like quoting his pro day 40 and shuttle numbers is not the right call when discussing the merits of the pick.
Most teams use them. I'd be shocked if that wasn't all, but I don't know for sure. Maybe Cincinnati refuses to pay for itThose numbers, the GPS pads numbers, definitely give me some hope. If any team was willing to use them, I'd bet on the Browns being the team that would standardize that above pro day numbers.

Pro day numbers let us fans see some info that they already knew.
Found some good news from Tony Pauline:
Richard Lecounte III, S, Georgia - NFL Draft Player Profile
Georgia safety Richard Lecounte III has been one of the top SEC playmakers for a long time, but will that translate to the NFL Draft?www.profootballnetwork.com
In recent years, instincts have become more important in safety evaluation. Athleticism still matters. However, players can lack a few top-end traits and still provide playmaking ability and versatility with instincts. Richard Lecounte is far from an elite athlete, but he has some of the best instincts in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Lecounte always plays fast, and he can play from many different alignments. At Georgia, he was seen lining up at single-high, two-deep, and in the slot. From these positions, Lecounte has the awareness to follow the play with his eyes, and he’s measured with his aggression.
A quote that I love... "If you're not a smart football player, you being faster just helps you get to the wrong place in less time"Found some good news from Tony Pauline:
