I fucking hate the Lakers, probably my most hated team in sports now along with the Squeelers.
Every home game is the same, road team trails the whole time and then they make a comeback only for the Lakers to somehow win in the end.

I think this just shows the Lakers lack focus, or what I call the "Lamar Odom" syndrome. Play like you're high the whole game and sprint the last 2 minutes because you think the cops are chasing you.
Anyway, most teams have this issue with the exception of the Celtics who have the most intense man in the world. He's not always yelling, but when he does, it's Dos Equis.
I think you're misunderstanding his post.
He's actually saying Kobe MEANT to shoot it and in fact did shoot it. Ron was an afterthought.

Kobe was saying he got a good look over Nash but Grant came outta no where to make him double pump. Then he saw Ron right there, for the putback.

Q. What did you see on that last play, after you took the shot, could you see that Ron was there? How did it unfold from where you were at?
KOBE BRYANT: I saw him coming, actually. I felt I had a good look. Grant Hill stuck his hand in there in the last second, forced me to double pump. Other than that I was going to shoot over Steve. And once I released the ball, I saw Ron sneaking in. I was just hoping that he got it off in time.
