Hypothetically of course, what would be your ideal exchange for TT, AV, and maybe some future picks? What would it take to get a all star small forward/center without moving Irving, Dion, or Bennett?

What could we get for AV/TT? Hmm..

Half eaten bag of Lays sounds about right.

Not as much as we would like to think unless a team is willing to salary dump an older allstar.

They are worth a whole lot more to the Cavs at this point than they are worth in trade. The time to trade Andy is past, and most teams have yet to have caught on to how much TT is developing. Give Tristan a13-10 year playing great D on a playoff team and then we can talk about his value.

Andy is a bargain big man, if you look at his production. Had he been healthy last season entering free agency with his numbers, he would have been getting close to the max from someone.

Right now for Varejao? Not much. If he stays healthy until the deadline? Probably a decent amount. A good young player I think.

TT is a solid big man locked in for around 5 million for the next three years...

People thinking he has no trade value are way off base.

My prediction Andy will be in OKC by seasons end, if he stays healthy.

They don't have anything we want. Or am I missing something?

Steven Adams? Perry Jones? Jeremy Lamb? Primarily Steven Adams though. The rationale behind why this trade might work is that OKC might not want to wait for Steven Adams to develop. After all, they're a contender right now. We're 4 years behind OKC and have a few years before we reach that level. Giving them Varejao gives them a high-level player who can defend, pass, rebound, and set picks well while being fairly effective on offense without needing the ball in his hands much at all. Throw in Zeller if need be.

We have to throw in Zeller to get Steven Adams? I don't see how that benefits us. Adams is highly unlikely to ever reach AV's level, so...... AV for Adams, Lamb, 2016 and 2018 first rounders. That's closer to making sense for us.

And we'd have to already have acquired another center who can play right away in a separate transaction since we're actually trying to win now.

Unless Grant gets another steal, I prefer to let TT develop for another year, and raise his stock.

We just have to wait and see who becomes available at the deadline from teams looking bring their cap down or tank for the 2014 lottery.

Love for the Cavs to get a couple of those players. However Cavs would likely have to take back salary like Perkins $. AV for Adams, Perkins, PJ3.

You've gotta be kidding me. We'd have to take Perkins back for the pleasure of letting them have AV? I mean, obv the salaries have to match, but it ain't gonna be matched with Perkins. Trading Andy for no immediate value doesn't really make a whole lot of sense for this team and where it's at. A trade of future assets was fine a year or two ago, but we need a replacement for him if we're going to trade him. They don't have one.
