in the game prior to the jacksonville game we played the saints, after a controversial play where a receiver for the saints seemed to bobble and drop a pass (which was ruled a catch) the saints ran up to the line and spiked the ball to kill any chance the browns had of challenging or cause a review of the catch, the saints continued to drive and ultimately won the game

the same exact situation happened but in reverse the very next week against jacksonville, andre king bobbled and seemed to drop a ball that was ruled a catch. the browns run up to the line spike the ball and still get screwed

I fear number two is far more likely and it will put a black eye on Cleveland sports fans for a while. Bottlegate happened at the end of the game. It's going to be that level of anger but beginning at team warm-ups. I'm sure people are going to be stream g in hammered before the tip as well.

All these things make me worry for how we're going to be seen on the national stage. He is a classless individual but we are not classless fans and therefore should act as such. Screaming at him at the top of our lungs, QUITTER posters, and "Akron Hates You" should be enough.

Apropo the Akton chant. If it would possible to coordinate a chain in which half the side of the Arena chants "Akron hates you!", immediately followed by the other side screaming, "Cleveland hates you!" and then the whole arena explodes together, "WE ALL HATE YOU" or "OHIO HATES YOU" to show were unified not divided like he thinks.

With all do respect, who gives a flying f**k about how we're viewed nationally...they all rip on us anyways. I hope nothing bad happens, but I could care less if the national media thinks we're bad (they already do).

Among other reasons which I won't get into, as it'll probably go in 1 ear & out the other, us looking bad makes LeBron look less bad by default.

Count me in the group for whatever happens, happens. Regardless of right wrong or indifferent, fans are going to do what they thing is necessary when he is first here. Me personally, if something happens where it puts a "blackeye" on Cleveland than so be it. From a national perspective our city is looked upon so negative it is ridiculous. I know and many of you that is not the case but unfortunately the national perception is going to be that way. And, to be honestbi could care less. So if something happens like the palace than it does. I am not saying I want it to, but would not be surprised.
Anyways whatever happens will and that is what LBJ will surely deserve.

I'm offended you would accuse me of being a LeBron troll. Read the first three pages of this thread and see the shit I wrote. I have as much hate and anguish towards that fuck as anyone on here. I was making a fucking joke when I said the Jack Ruby thing. Apparently when LeFuck went south, some of your senses of humor followed.

But while were on the subject, I might as well say that this witch-hunt shit has gotta stop. Every damn thread I go into is constantly marked with a thousand people jumping on someone because they make a non-hateful comment towards LeFuck. Listen, its a fucking message board. But did Windy imply that *he* was going to leak things about what went on that he couldn't say before? Or that he felt that others would be?

I have a problem if he (like Gilbert) said he was going to spill the beans and then clammed up .vs. just predicted it'll happen while staying above the "fray".

Seems to me that both Gilbert and Windhorst made their comments while on the emotional rollercoaster after the Decision, and then after getting a chance to think about what they had said came to their senses. For Windhorst, he would be potentially violating the trust he has developed with players and contacts in the league if he goes spilling non-sports related gossip. Windhorst himself has come out and said several times since that despite the stories of douchebag LBJ coming out, the Cavs would have happily signed on for 7 more years of that. I think he realized this, and at least for now, is letting the stories lie where they are. I think we may have to wait for Windy's or LBJ's retirement to get that tell-all book.
