What do we do when he comes to Cleveland?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Someone write a letter to Gilbert suggesting the silence thing, then he can get the message across to the fans via the screen before the game starts. I truly think it would be amazing and LeBron wouldn't know how to react.

I don't know...I think Gilbert wants to join us in booing and chanting "Akron Hates You."

I was at bottlegate

i'm sure there are some people here who don't understand the main motivation behind it

in the game prior to the jacksonville game we played the saints, after a controversial play where a receiver for the saints seemed to bobble and drop a pass (which was ruled a catch) the saints ran up to the line and spiked the ball to kill any chance the browns had of challenging or cause a review of the catch, the saints continued to drive and ultimately won the game

the same exact situation happened but in reverse the very next week against jacksonville, andre king bobbled and seemed to drop a ball that was ruled a catch. the browns run up to the line spike the ball and still get screwed

bottlegate was a reaction to the inconsistency of referee's and challenges

When they do starting line ups, they shouldn't even mention his name. And possibly re-write "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, to " You saw Gloria kissing Delonte's balls". Seasons greetings bitch.

Totally off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Weren't the floodgates supposed to be open on all the dirt on Lebron and his crew?

I thought Windy was going to be dropping anti Lebron tidbits and stuff was supposed to be leaked out?

He's doing enough damage on his own, but I wanted to hear some image tarnishing shit that he isn't handing to the press himself.

All I know is that LeBron is gunna get verbally ass-fucked when he comes back.

I believe the only ass-fucking LeBron receives is from his co-bitches

Add on some verbal sodomy, and LeBron's a dirty whore.

I've warmed up to the "Akron Hates You" chant. I wasn't sure at first, but after seeing how out of touch he is with the real world, it might just have an effect.

What would be great, is if you could get other arenas to start chanting that. If you could get Laker fans, and Knicks fans, and Celtics fans to all chant "Akron Hates You," so that he hears it no matter where he goes.

And Boozer thought he had it bad. I think one of two things will happen.

Either LeBron's elbow will flare up and need to be rested in Miami (Not likely but if the hostility level in other arenas is going to be as high as it seems he might just decide for safety's sake to sit this game out ala Boozer)

Or he will show up and shit will just go down. There ar going to be 20,000+ angry fans and with that many people the chance that 5-10 will do something dangerous/shameful and completely illegal is pretty damn high.

I fear number two is far more likely and it will put a black eye on Cleveland sports fans for a while. Profanity, posters, and heckling are all fine and deserved but there will be a few idiots undoubtedly who will throw batteries, beers, or worse (if this was Europe I would no doubt guess a flare would be thrown).

Bottlegate happened at the end of the game. It's going to be that level of anger but beginning at team warm-ups. I'm sure people are going to be stream g in hammered before the tip as well.

All these things make me worry for how we're going to be seen on the national stage. He is a classless individual but we are not classless fans and therefore should act as such. Screaming at him at the top of our lungs, QUITTER posters, and "Akron Hates You" should be enough.

Apropo the Akton chant. If it would possible to coordinate a chain in which half the side of the Arena chants "Akron hates you!", immediately followed by the other side screaming, "Cleveland hates you!" and then the whole arena explodes together, "WE ALL HATE YOU" or "OHIO HATES YOU" to show were unified not divided like he thinks.

My biggest concern in all this is how Cleveland fans will come out looking. If anything is thrown, someone rushes the court, etc, you know it will be replayed endlessly on LeSPN and other national networks. It'll make the fans look like the idiots and swing sympathy towards James. It'll give him all the ammunition to say things like "look how they treat LeBron" and "I told you they never appreciated me". The best thing would be to ignore him and not motivate him or feed his ego in any way. I know that's an impossible dream but it would be better than seeing video of fans throwing shit at him and everyone in the national media saying how awful the city is and how the fan base have sunk to caveman levels.

It appears to me that Gilbert was paid off (with draft picks) and told to STFU for the sake of the league. Windy may have gotten the same cease and desist, but possibly from multiple sources given his ties to ESPN.

I respect Windy for not leaking out things LeBron doesn't want getting out. If he did, it would just be sinking down to Terez Owens' level. And we all know Windy is far above that.
