Do you want to keep him?
Trade him?
What do you think he does good and bad?

I personally think he'll be a good 3 point shooter if we keep him. He's also a good slasher and I don't think we should trade him.

And is there a site that tells how long players are signed, their saleries, ect.? I rememeber going to sites like this but I don't know any .

Hoopshype.com, and sportsillustrated.com are the best

sportsillustrated under players transactions gives player salaries that don't show on hoopshype.

As for Sasha. He's 21. Shows a nice stroke, though at times he rushes it, and loses his fundamentals a bit. He looks like he could become a good defender as he ages. Right now he's pretty mediocre defensively.

Offensively, he just needs to stick to his role of spotting up, and shooting until he becomes a better ball handler. Has troubles with decision making as well.

Experience will do a lot for him. Def. has talent.

Not sure if he should stay or go. If we can get a first rounder for him, i'd do it.

I actually think Sasha is still a bit shy with his shot. He looks around and thinks too much. He is here to bring in offense, and when he just looks around wide open he will never get the chance to provide it.

There has been some games where he provided a good punch off the bench, but it's very rare when it happens.

He is only a second year player, so I don't expect much yet. Once he knows he has talant, then he will become a fine player for either us or whoever.

As for keeping him, sure, I would. He is actually one of my favorites off the bench, but if a nice deal came along that involved trading him I wouldn't shed any tears.

You guys hit all the key points.. Sasha could be a real good player, he has a nice stroke but is a little nervous out there..

Sometimes he has confidence in his stroke which leads him to rackin' up the 3's than somenights he has no confidence and is a little clumsy.. and than somenights he doesnt play... dont ask me why not, ask silas that one..

I for one wouldnt want to see him go, because i think having Luke start could be good, than when we rest luke bring in sasha and keep rotating them because they both can fill it up... all though we wont know until we see what free agents we sign

Pavlovic would have been a nice contributor to this team at the end of the season if he would have gotten some consistent minutes earlier in the season when Lucious Harris got PT over both Pavlovic and Jackson.(Part of the Silas won't let me play players early in the season).

Harris was just a huge waste of time and money.

Back to Pavlovic--he's a keeper unless a team offers something that really helps the Cavs in return.

I think he and especially Jackson can be key players for the Cavs next season!

Id trade him any day of the week for Ruben Patterson or Alston, they could have Welsh in that trade too.

Luke well be better.

ill second those trades.

maybe an offseason will help his confindence. hes got all the tools needed to be a solid player in the future.

I like Alston--he's a definite upgrade over McGinnis and Snow.

I like Patterson also but I believe he is making alot of money.

Sasha is one of my favorite players on the cavs. He has a lot of potential and could be a good contributor for us. But he is expendable, especially with Luke and Jiri on the team. If we get a chance to acquire some good pieces for him we have to take it.

I agree with what others have said, in that Sasha needs to improve his confidence a little. When he spots up, he has a killer jumper, so he needs to trust in that. A few too many times you see him pass up a jumper he should've taken.

Sasha shows a good grasp of fundamentals on offense. He rotates the ball nicely. He is good at faking guys off their feet. He can shoot from the perimeter as well as drive to the hoop. On the defensive side of things, he has quick hands and can be very pesky, but he does sometimes get lost, or gets overaggressive and picks up the bad foul.

Overall, what he needs to improve most on both ends of the court is his decision making.

At this point, I favor Sasha over both Jiri and Luke Jackson because Sasha has proven himself the most. He has been inconsistent, but a lot of young guys are. Luke has the most potential though, so I wouldn't look to trade him either unless it was for something great. Luke will basically be like our first round draft pick this year, since he didn't really play last year and since we don't have a pick. Jiri is easily the odd man out and I don't expect him to be in a Cavs uniform next season.

Sasha is a very nice role player, I hope we keep him even though I believe Luuuke Jackson will be better. Sasha mostly backed up Lebron, but Lebron is never off the floor very long. He needs consistent minutes. (He started for half the season while on Utah while they were still good) Definitely should have been used over Lucious Harris.

Pros- his team defense/rotation is better than his individual defense. Has a respectable outside shot, able to slip through screens for the easy dunk. Smart player, seems coachable enough (anyone given the nod by Jerry Sloan has to be taken seriously) Works very well with AV for some reason too.

Cons- needs some work on individual defense, needs to communicate with his teammates better while on the floor (although that was a team-wide problem), could use some Prozac at times as he is virtually unreadable by opponents and teammates while on the floor :D Needs to be more aggressive if he's the 1st option in the 2nd unit, like Bostjan Nachbar was against us in the Hornets game.

I'm looking at the playoffs now, thinking where in an 8-man playoff rotation would Pavs go...and I'm not sure, seeing as he'll probably still be LBJ's backup next year and not get the consistent minutes.

Sasha is a great player off the bench. He's been finding his shot lately, something we could have used a long time ago had he gotten minutes. I also like how he attacks the basket, very useful when LeBron is out because nobody on the bench is that assertive.

However, if a trade rolls along, it must be done if the cards are right. For instance, if we trade Z, the recipient team would want some young talent also, and Sasha would fit in the trade well. I wouldn't let him go, but he's expendable because of Jiri and Luke. I have my hopes set on Luke more than any of those three.

I think Sasha shouldn't be expendable because of Jiri. When it comes to Luke Jackson, we hear he has the most potential of the 3 and was winning shooting contests held after practice, showing that even with a bad back he was our team's best shooter. Keeping Luke is fairly easy to understand. But in the case of Jiri, while I believe he is better than what he showed us, Sasha outperformed him big-time on the court. I'd keep Sasha and Luke and let Jiri and Newble be the guys closer to the exit door.

I think Sasha's lack of confidence or whatever was really from not having a role on the team. Actually, lots of guys had the same problem. Its no secret that Gilbert's purchase of the team screwed things up this year, but at least it screwed up this year and not next.

If Sasha knew he'd be the first guy off the bench instead of Harris, then he would have had an even more solid year. Instead, he goes from starting SG and guarding Kobe in a win to DNP-CD over the course of a few games. You gotta think that out of Ira, Jiri, Luke, Sasha, and Harris that only two will stay. Jackson wont be traded until he has had a shot, and as good as Sasha has looked, I don't think we need him. I think hes the only guy that can bring in some real trade value (Jiri isn't going to bring in anything after this season), and we need a backup C and PG more than another swingman.

$6 mill, which isnt too bad. He could be 6th m an of the year in Cleveland.
