1. Dion Waiters, Anderson Varejao, Tristan Thompson and 2015 1st round pick for Kevin Love and Corey Brewer.
The Cavs get a bonafied superstar in Kevin Love, who may or may not re-sign with the Cavs in a year, but also helps bait a certain former MVP to come back to the city he deserted in 2010. Imagine a big three of Irving, Love, and James. Sparks would fly in Cleveland. As for Minnesota, they get rid of their disgruntled superstar, while receiving very serviceable players in Varejao and Jack, as well as a future star in Waiters. Not to mention the first rounder that at this point, could be a great commodity, or it could end up being nothing more than a late round pick.
2. Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varejao, and Tristan Thompson for Rajon Rondo and Jeff Green.
The Cavs get a pass-first superstar point guard who is known for making his teammates better and his stingy defense, as well as a viable number two scorer in Jeff Green. Also a defensive upgrade at the forward position. As for Boston, they get a younger all-star point guard in Irving, a young and talented forward in Thompson and a seasoned veteran in Varejao that knows the game and can mentor Thompson and Sullinger.
3. Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson for Jameer Nelson, Nicola Vucevic, and Tobias Harris and 2014 1st round pick.
The Cavs get a young, athletic and dynamic forward in Harris, who had a breakout season for the Magic. Also, the Cavs get a double-double machine in Vucevic, and an experienced leader at point guard in Nelson. Oh, and don’t forget adding the fourth overall pick along with having the first pick as well. Meanwhile, the Magic get Irving, again, future superstar and current all-star who could develop into a top-5 point guard, along with a nice young forward in Thompson. The first round pick may be a bit much, but it all depends on how much a team like Orlando covets a player like Irving.
4. Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varejao, and Jarrett Jack for Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari.
The Cavs get two nice building blocks at the point guard and small forward position in this trade, both of whom are productive offensive players and I’d give the defensive nod to Lawson over Irving. The Nuggets obviously get a star point guard and serviceable players in the mean time to continue to try and reach the playoffs each year in the tough Western Conference.

This would be a massive trade for the Cavs to complete, and a risky one. This trade would have to be done with the idea that LeBron would return to Cleveland. Again, it’s the idea of the big three, Irving, James, and Aldridge. Not to mention the scoring potential of McCollum. As for the Blazers, sure they got into the playoffs this season and almost made it past the first round, but this could be a possibility. Waiters and Thompson along with the first overall pick are very enticing, even for a team that made the playoffs in the West.
