Who should we get in the draft?

It's really too bad the Jazz traded their 1st round pick this year. After Sloan leaving and trading Williams, Jimmer would be a PR Godsend for them. He's not good enough to take with the Nets pick, though.

I just read on the bottom line of CBS College Sports Network that Tristan Thompson will return for his sophomore year. I like Thompson but I think this is a good idea. Stay a year to put on some weight and work on his jumpshot.

I wouldn't consider Fredette with either of the Cavs lottery picks. I do think he can play in the NBA and be somewhat effective but it's tough to see him as a high quality starter. He's not going to be able to jack up 25 shots a game and I can't see his coach or veteran teammates being thrilled with him coming down and jacking up 30 footers early in the shot clock. Not at all writing him off as a prospect but some of the things he's doing in college he's not going to be able to do nearly as easily in the NBA.
I don't see a strong comparison to Mark Price either. Price was quicker and had much much better PG ability.

Also think Kenneth Faried is a mid 1st rounder at best. You can't write him off as a prospect or player a team could decide to draft pretty high. Hardworking energy players who are high quality rebounders do have a lot of value for a team. May not have the skill of other players but you know you're getting a guy who will contribute and play hard every night. After watching players go through the motions or even fail to show up this season, a guy like Faried is always a nice addition to a team. Wouldn't consider him in the top 10 though.

Perhaps we could trade down with the Clips pick with the Jazz and pick up Kawhi Leonard. What do you guys think of him?
