Who To Start Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wr/Rb - Brandon Jackson, Mcfadden, Jonathon Stewart.

I started Stewart last week, but Mcfadden had 20+ points wasted by sitting on the bench. I think I'm starting Jackson but I have a feeling Mcfadden will kill it again.

That is a nice problem to have.

Brandon Jackson all the way. Micheal Bush has been activated for the Raiders and Stewart will always split carries with Deangelo Williams. Jackson will probably be the only running back playing in the Green Bay juggernaut offense.

Ok i have 6 wide recievers and can only start 4, who should i start?

Randy Moss(Pats) vs. Jets
Marques Colston(Saints) vs. 49ers
Dexter McCluster(Chiefs) vs. Browns
Hakeem Nicks(Giants) vs. Colts
Steve Smith(Panthers) vs. Bucs
Mike Thomas(Jags) vs. Chargers

Thats quite a WR corps. I'd definitely go with Moss Colston and Smith. I'd go with McCluster because of the team hes facing and after Nicks' performance last week, Indy's gonna be focusing on him.

I have the same problem at the flex as I did last week, and will until Beanie Wells recovers:

Massaquoi vs. KC
Kevin Walter at WAS
Evan Moore vs KC
Austin Collie vs. Giants
Felix Jones vs. chi

- I'd usually start Jones in a heartbeat; I had him as my # 2 last week, but he only got like 8 touches last week with Marion Barber and tashard choice back there

I have a flex position that I am really stumped on this week. Here are my three candidates:

1) Jerome Harrison versus KC: I think he may have a good week considering they are at home and Tyson Jackson is out. Not to mention Hillis fumbled twice and the Browns coaching staff came under fire for underusing Harrison week 1.

2) Dwayne Bowe at Cleveland: I'm not really too enamored with this play... But if the Chiefs open up the run it could set up a big day for Bowe.

3) Dez Bryant versus Chicago: At home and Dez caught 8 balls last week. Dallas will be looking to throw it around and make a statement versus the Bears.

What do you all think?

Jackson and McFadden in my opinion. Stewart will get more points and carries as the year progresses, but until he shows something early he scares me. I don't believe Michael Bush is playing today (game-time decision), so Run DMC should be your #2.

IMO...1.Nicks, 2.Steve Smith, 3.Moss, 4.Colston. 5. Thomas 6.McCluster. McCluster is only going to help if he gets a return touchdown, which is not likely to happen multiple weeks in a row (even against the Browns). Also, Moss scares me a little but he has so much big play potential you gotta start him. Revis Island has really shut him down the last few times they played though.

I think Austin Collie had the game of his life last week and I wouldn't bet on him repeating it any time soon. I would say 1. Massaquoi 2. Walter 3. Jones 4. Collie 5. Moore

That really is tough. I think you gotta stick with Harrison. I highly doubt Mangini is going to let Wallace chuck the ball today, he will most likely stick with the running game. Remember that Harrison set up Hillis' TD run last week with that 40-50 yarder. They brought out Harrison to catch his breath and Hillis scores, that TD could have easily gone to Jerome. Gotta stick with the RB. If you really like the WR's though, I think Bryant might be ahead of Bowe for me. Tony Romo targeted Bryant 12 times last week, whereas Bowe is more of a home run threat, only got 5 targets last week but might have a better chance of scoring a TD.

All right, I know I'm not in the RCF league, but I'm looking for some guidance here. My friend is "that guy" in fantasy and talks shit all the time (plus he's a Bears fan, so he is extra insufferable this year:chuckles:). He needs to go down to make me the only undefeated guy left.

As of right now, I just need to figure out my flex starter.
Austin Collie (vs. DEN)
Mark Clayton (Vs. WAS)
LaDainian T (vs. MIA)
Jacoby Jones (vs. DAL)

I know I should always go with the running back, but both Collie and Clayton are playing out of their asses right now. WAS has a bad pass D and Denver may have 2 CBs out for week 3. I also feel like Shonn Green has to break out sometime soon, so LT may lose some touches. I'm leaning towards Collie simply because it's Peyton Manning throwing him the ball and Garcon may not play.

I know I'm micromanaging, but my buddy deserves to lose so that the ridicule can commence.

I'd go with Collie too. You know Champ Bailey will be guarding Reggie Wayne a lot, making Peyton not look his way as much.

heys guys i'm in last place in my fantasy league so i figured i'd turn to some advice. i've turned my team over each week (14 moves), to try and at least score some more points. it hasn't worked i'm averaging ~50pts.

QB - Joe Flacco or Josh Freeman
RB (2 of 3) - Steven Jackson, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw
WR (3 of 6) - Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie, Kevin Walter, Demaryius Thomas, Dustin Keller, Aaron Hernandez
D/St - Miami or KC

QB - Flacco is playing the Browns... :hide: you have to start him over Freeman who is facing Pukesburgh.

RB - Jackson & Thomas ... Rams have had success vs. Washington. Thomas is playing a division opponent at home which usually bodes well, though it is on a short week.

WR - Wayne, Collie, Walter
D - Toss up I'd probably say Miami since it is a MNF game and that usually brings the score down. KC is playing against Alex Smith though.....

3 spots open:

Choosing between:
Michael Crabtree, Thomas Jones, Mario Manningham, Devin Aromashodu, TJ Houshmanzadeh

Thoughts?

Falb: Bad week for Thomas Jones. The Niners run defense has been a bright spot so far. On the other hand, I wouldn't start Crabtree until he is clearly out of the doghouse... and that hasn't happened yet. I would go with Jones with tapered expectations or take a chance on Mario Manningham.

WR (chose 2) - Greg Jennings / Santana Moss @ Rams / Boldin vs Browns /
Sims -Walker vs Phi
RB / WR flex - LT @ Dolphins / Brandon Jackson @ Bears / Mike Tolbert @ Sea

I am leaning towards Moss and and Boldin and for the flex thinking about Tolbert since Matthews maybe out.

I'd go with Jennings and Moss. Wouldn't play Boldin untill him and Flacco can show they can work. Plus Browns defense isn't as bad as people say. I like Tolbet if Matthews is out but if not I'd go with Jackson.

QB: McNabb vs Rams or Vick vs JAC

WR (chose 3) Randy Moss vs Bills, Santana Moss vs Rams, Austin Collie vs DEN, Ochocinco vs CAR .... Have Collie sitting out now but starting to get second thoughts since everyone is saying he should be a solid start next week.

2 questions.
Which defense to pick up either the Pats(Playing Bills) or Dolphins (Playing Jets)?
1 RB spot open and 4 RB-P.Hillis,B.Wells, B.Jackson or M.Tolbert?

Ive got one quick question...

What is Andre Johnson's status? he is listed as Questionable, but it says he will start, i am thinking maybe i should bench him if he isnt 100%, i have a good backup in Roddy White, on the Bench....
