Who would you trade?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd be willing to trade anyone in the right move and obviously better players net better return but I seriously can't understand how so many of you would seemingly be more upset about trading Karasev than Waiters.

At least for me, the reason I don't want to trade Karasev is that his trade value is quite low right now because he's barely played in the NBA. If we need to throw him in to grease the wheels in a blockbuster trade for a big star then yeah, I would be fine for that. But it's not worth shopping him alone because there just won't be any worthwhile offers.

Fair enough. Don't sell low on a guy who hasn't even gotten an a real chance to display his talents. I'd be fine with letting him play in the DL all year.

For me, no way I trade Kyrie or Dion right now.

I don't know who, but I still want MKG so badly.

David Griffin comes from the Phoenix system and values shooters. I doubt MKG is on his radar..

Edit: just listened to the Windy podcast. Griffin comes from systems based around his PG which probably does mean bringing in pieces to compliment Kyrie. Shooting and possibly a vet brought in... Maybe someone like Jeff Green would fit the bill? Fine with that as long as Dion or Bennett don't get moved out. According to Windy, Dion's trade value around the league isn't high so hoping he doesn't get moved in any deal at this point.

I'm not interested in moving any of the young core unless it's a can't miss Kevin Love type deal which seems highly unlikely at this point.

Obviously, I'd love to dump Clark, Jack and Gee on anybody for anything that isn't a long term cap burden. Mainly just want these guys off the team to free up minutes for the youth as I don't think Brown is capable of gluing vets to the bench.

I'd also be shopping Andy and Deng to teams that think they are one piece away from contending. I don't care to move either guy, but I think you have to poke around and see if you can find a team like OKC, Portland, Houston, etc. that might pay a steep cost to try and win it all now. I still fear Andy is an injury waiting to happen and Deng is a guy biding his time until he can sign with a contender. That being said, I have zero problem holding on to both and continuing to try and push towards the playoffs this year.

After listening to Windy's RCF podcast, I don't think we are going to see some huge team reconstruction at the deadline. I would love to see us flip Earl Clark for Jared Dudley, because while he is not having a great year would provide more than Clark right now and is supposed to be a good locker room guy (There is also a PHX connection between him and Griffin). We would be adding a little money to the payroll for next year, but other than trying to keep Deng, I doubt we are going to be big free agent buyers.

I do see the possibility of a roster shakeup through trade next summer, however as I could see the new GM trying to get rid of some of the redundancy on this team or trying to get a big name veteran.

one of those multi-option polls would be really good for this thread. I'd be curious to see the results.

Pistons Receive: 2015 first-round pick (choice of Cavaliers, Miami Heat or Memphis Grizzlies), G/F Sergey Karasev, F Earl Clark

Cavaliers Receive: C Greg Monroe

Warriors Receive: G Jarrett Jack, F Alonzo Gee, 2014 second-round pick (via Orlando Magic), 2014 second-round pick (via Memphis Grizzlies)

Cavaliers Receive: F Harrison Barnes

Not sure how realistic this is but hey id love it.
