WTF. This dude over there suggested Grant Hill AND T-Mac, and when I called him out for it, he got all defensive and said I was flaming. What is it about rebuilding that people don't understand? I swear I cringe every time people bring up names just because they've heard of the guy before playing NBA live 05 or somethin. SMH.

Because stupidity in masses bugs me

Mcgrady would actually be a good acquisition. it would give the cavs an experienced veteran who can contribution 18-25 minutes a game.

Cavs are not rebuilding they are building the difference is theres nothing to tear down at this point.

Irving Casspi,THompson, Gee and Samuels would benefit from the acquisition of another experienced Veteran.

Scott has defensive and offensive shemes to run. Veteran players adapt better and can help ease the learning curve.

also Grant himself has mentioned taking on a veteran free agent so such suggestions arent entirely unreasonable.

I actually think it is counter productive to sign T-Mac. Much rather Sign AP.

TMac is the antithesis of the veteran presence that Scott is likely looking for. Grant Hill, on the other hand, is exactly the veteran presence that the Cavs could use. The problem here is that Hill will likely stay in Phoenix, or latch on to a contender.

The problem isn't as much as how we could use them its why would they sign with us? Besides I'd rather continue developing Eyenga, Gee, and Casspi instead of having them on the bench watching T-Mac act like he cares.

This post is like driving 6.5 hours from Gary, Indiana to the Solon rec center to report a shooting of a homeless underneath an abandoned bridge in Gary.

Little redundant. When talking about Gary, Indiana, abandoned and homeless are assumed.

We should sign Jay Williams. The older Duke guard can mentor the younger one.

Fucking nonsense.

Fucking nonsense.

so why did the cavs look at him last year?

the only people who would be concerned about signing a veteran player who can still perform at a good price would be those with the agenda of wanting to see the cavs with the worst record possible. to get a higher pick.

From what I understood the cavs didnt make an offer to mcgrady last year because of concerns about his health. not his mental health.

so your saying Irving would be better served learning how to pass the ball to the right spots surrounded by guys with hardly any NBA experience.

You think Bird didnt benefit from having a rookie season surrounded by seasoned quality players?

whats nonsense is saying a guy just because he has been an all star in the past wont come to play in cleveland or that the Cavs wont target the exact kind of player they stated themselves they were looking at. not everyone roster transactions needs to be for the long term.
