Why Nate hasn't gotten any offers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Teams just aren't high on signing traffic cone sized ballers...

Great friends?

Nate is "I like to fight" guy. He has challenged every teammate and member of the Knicks organization to a fight at some point in time. He's a little ball of hate and very disruptive. I wouldnt want that hardass on our team for the minimum.

I think he will end up in Europe.

I didn't know all of this. But I still maintain that Nate would be in shape for a shot at winning. He has never won and winning fixes a lot of problems.

Robinson is fun to watch. I guarantee Cleveland would love him. Even though he is short he has a very strong upper body(and legs obviously), TERRIFIC handles, good shooter, and can score in the paint. Man he broke Steve Blakes SO bad.

Isn't he a restricted free agent and the Knicks would obviously match. Dumb post.

The board that I got this from the guy that posted it was a Knicks fan and said the Knicks wouldn't match because of the 2010 BS.

If it was 2 years 4 mil, they would match...They were probably talking about someone offering a little more than 2 mil a year. And anyways Nate Robinson wouldn't sign for 2 years. He would sign for 1 year for 2 mil and I'm betting his QO from the Knicks is more.

with Chemistry being such a huge part of our success im not sure we can afford to risk it for a guy who is not even a good fit like Nate

he sure is fun to watch some times though

Im trying to think of scenarios of how we can get him. No a trade won't work because NY won't trade with us and there is nothing we can give. Maybe it is possible if the Knicks get Sessions and J Will than they CAN'T sign him? Or how does that work. Does he become unrestricted at some point.

I'm assuming that the only way we get him is if they get Sessions.

So they say Sessions is signing with New York.......does that mean we have a chance at Nate Rob or do the still have the money to sign him.

I don't think he'd sign anywhere for the BAE. His QO is for about 1 million than the BAE. He could very easily play this year at the QO, then become an UFA next year.

Even if the Knicks sign Sessions and he loses a ton of minutes, he'll get way more than 1.9 mil next year.

HAHA yeah i didn't think many would like the idea of getting him. I'm just really bored right now and thought i'd throw that out there so we had SOMETHING, ANYTHING to talk about other than nothing. I understand exactly why a lot of people wouldn't want him, but I think he could be controlled in a winning situation, and he also would become a great trade piece because what we would be signing him for would have to be the BAE. A package with Nate in it looks a lot more attractive than a package with Boobie.

That last sentence is up for debate..

If nobody's even making him an offer at this point, doesn't that speak of Nate's value around the league right now?

P.S: I'm NOT debating who's the better player here.. just who has more value around the league..

P.P.S: I may even be wrong, but I really don't see how you can say a package with Nate looks A LOT more attractive than a package with Boobie.. Even if teams would rather have Nate, the fact that he's receiving very few offers, shows me that he doesn't have that much more value than Boobie at this point..

He wants more than the MLE.. theres no market for him.. so the Knicks hold all the cards.. end of story.
