If Lebron signs an extension of 3 + years next year, then you will see the cavs moving toward a more long term style. Right now it is all about showing LBJ that we are willing to bite the bullet, take on the cash and make this team better. I think this trade shows LOBJ we are committed to improving this team...I don't see how this trade does anything but help the chances of LBJ reupping next year.

I just think it is the wrong strategy. I would have gone for younger players who would make us better now and in the future. Who would make us better if LBJ is here in 2 years or not.
