The trade deadline is coming and I am hearing a lot of names that could be on the Cavaliers radar. Some surprising, some are not. I expect the Cavaliers to be very active this trade deadline.

Oh, that is until after Windy or the national media reported it - making the "inside" information worthless and after the fact.

W&G never claimed to be anything, and many of the mods have confirmed his "insider" status -- whatever that may in fact be.

Regardless of the veracity of his claims, they were fun, got people excited, and added a lot of momentum to this forum. At the end of the day, the only TRUE insiders are the owners and general management of teams. Anyone else in the organization, or connected to the organization, may have more information than the rest of us, but since they are not in the "inner-circle" they will never know exactly what is going on.

Add some intellectual knowledge to the forum and maintain a professional persona and maybe you'll receive some thanks also. W&G wasn't all about inside info, he actually had great insight to the game. Something numerous posters don't look for when reading and waiting for inside info like vultures.

That's true, but in the context of a forum...I just don't get why anyone would expend the effort to type of paragraphs defend W&G so vehemently. Honestly, I'm not sure why mods even let threads like this continue, either, so maybe I am just out of the loop..
