Winter Days at Progressive Field

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You mentioned the vendors are serving beer... are they also serving hot chocolate?

Are all of the team shops open?

Does the Q have their concession stands and team store open for concerts?

What is the obsession with the Dolan's making money on something? Last I checked it wasn't illegal to run a business at a profit.

It is a cool idea to bring people downtown, some good PR for the Indians and a way to use the park in the off-season.

And if you are trying to act like the profits from snow days would be enough to sign CC Sabathia then I'm done with this argument already.

It is absolutely incredible to me that so many people dislike this thing. Not for you? That's fine.

1) They are using an otherwise-empty stadium, so it's not hurting anything

2) They are adding another fun option of something to do for families in NE Ohio

3) If it's successful, they are bringing business to Downtown Cleveland

Some of you guys have so much misguided hate for the Dolans and the Indians...it's ridiculous how short-sighted some fans are

I definitely plan to check this out. I haven't been ice skating in years and I think it will be fun to have a memory of doing so around the ballpark.

I debated for a few seconds about clicking on this topic.

Very proud of you guys that there are no "Why doez dey buy snowmans but not Victor/Cliff/Omar/Manny/CC/Thome"...yet.

@Falb just because people use common sense, understand business and realize that this can't do anything but help the team doesn't mean that they work for the team. It just means that they have something better to do than troll around on a Indians thread on a Cavs message board complaining about every move the team makes because it's no longer "cool" to like the Indians.
