Not afraid of either. Have you guys hyping the Cubs seen how they've been playing?
Are we watching the same Cubs team?? They had one bad game, which was the last one.

Their other two losses were when they ran into the Clayton Kershaw buzzsaw, and that 13-inning nailbiter loss to the Giants.

They will be an incredibly tough team to beat, and they rolled through the entire regular season for a reason.

Salazar isn't starting, we can probably stop that fantasy right now.

Theyre really good...just like every team left right now. I dont see why we should be "worried" about facing either one.

I don't think their lineup is that much better than the last two we just shut down.

As someone expected to go 6-7-8 innings, hell no. As someone expected to go 3-4-5 innings, yes I think he goes back to the "starter"role

Yeah - Forget all the conventions! The old rules no longer apply! We just won an ALCS game where a rookie pitched shutout ball for 4 1/3, and the bullpen closed it out, and another one where NO pitcher got more than 6 outs!

Tito's playin' chess, while all those other mofos are playin' checkers!

i dont remember if this was baseball history or playoff history, but either way it was the first time a shutout has been recorded in which the starter didnt go at least 5. This is 2 nights after setting a couple of other records about bullpen performance.

As i said this team just needs starters that can go 3-4-5 and hold the other team to 1 or 2 runs tops

What's that about getting rid of the 789 roles?

Thank fucking god for Tito.

Thank god his dad played here. In the same vain that LeBron came back because he felt Cleveland was "home", feels kinda the same for Tito in some way.

It's so bizarre to see good managing out there after seeing the shit we saw with Wedge and such.(Grover was good at least. Manuel wasn't awful either)

Tito has said as much. This was a coming home for him too. He wanted to come here...he chose to come here.

He completely changed this organization much like LeBron has with the Cavs.

Kind of amazing to think about really, in a 3 year span, Urban Meyer, Terry Francona and LeBron all returned to their Ohio roots and took their respective organizations to unprecedented levels.

These three have changed Ohio sports forever.

It would be shocking. While Tito hasnt been conventional, they're not going to pull Salazar out of simulation games to start in the World Series after a month off, without his curveball.

You can't really make sense of that, IMO

Another reason to not want to face the Cubs in the World Series...

In all the promotional graphics and logos, the little curved C vs. the slightly larger block C is gonna look pretty silly.

Grover was the Mike Brown of the Indians. The talent made him look good. If we had the equivalent of 2016 Tito managing those 90s Indians teams, we would have a handful of rings and we would be starting on the OTHER hand...
