Would Jordan Still Be Considered The Greatest NBA Player If....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
exactly the thing that makes jim brown so great is that he is potentially the greatest player ever at 2 sports...

of course jim thrope blows everyone out of the water, but still brown was fantastic.

not to be a dick, but most pro athletes could likely play another sport.

Not to butt in, but he said "possibly be the greatest at two sports," not "likely play two sports." Guys like Bo Jackson were uplifted because they were solid at two sports. He's making the argument that the ability to excel at two sports, possibly being considered the best in both, is an unreal achievement.

best lacrosse player though?

I mean, say the seasons don't overlap, lebron could've been a football and basketball player.

Kenny Lofton was a point guard at Arizona but gave up basketball because it overlapped with baseball.

Charlie Ward won a Heisman but prefered basketball to football so he gave up football.

These athletes now-a-days are so athletic, they could easily be two sport stars, but seasons overlap ruins it for a lot of them.

Deion and Bo were just two guys who happened to play the two sports with the least overlap
