WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think Cody asked for his release back then
I think the story goes that Cody asked for many months to become himself again instead of Stardust, but they had no plans for him, so after Dusty died he felt he had no choice but to leave to prove it to himself and others he could be more, so yes he asked for his release.

I like this thread far more than the basketball one. This doesnt make me angry, outside of what they did to my boy Drew.

They've hinted at Drew having his moment in front of a live crowd during this feud a ton. I loved how they didn't have Priest show up right away either.

It was a common theme this weekend, seeking vengeance and playing around will cost you.

It cost Drew, it cost Roman, and it cost Gunther.

Meanwhile, Seth sacrificed himself to help Cody. Awesome

So Seth has to get a shot at the title right? He sacrificed the most. And when he was congratulating Cody it looked like he say you owe me. So there will probably be some one off title match between the two. I could even see it happening on raw so they can move on to a bigger storyline.

The story of Seth telling Cody that he'll be his SHIELD and Roman choosing vengeance at a key opportunity is so telling. Hunter is awesome.

My guess is he blames Cody for his loss (after some time off).

Seth desperately needs time off, man. Dude has been working through it with some of his knee stuff. Surprised he wrestled that much both nights, tbh

Big tease to a Cleveland showdown. The People's Champion, aka The Final Boss vs the New Undisputed Champion.

Cody vs Rock is going down sometime in the near future, that segment just confirmed it. Will be a huge match.

Don’t think it’s happening at Summerslam, Rock has too many commitments through July. He won’t be able to be on TV to build it.
We'll just have to see what he puts on hold. Wouldn't be the first time he announced a Mania match on the Raw after Mania but that's too long away.

My guess is next RR. SS has conflicts, you probably use the match to piggyback Rock vs Reigns. Maybe Roman comes in and spears Rock by mistake.

It's gonna be at a major event . Likely a top 4 ppv. With Summmer Slam & Wrestlemania likely out, it leaves you with Survivor Series or Royal Rumble. While Survivor Series has some significance to the Rock, I don't think that's it.

The curveball could be a ple later in the year becoming an intl stadium show.

IMO, you're gonna see an "offseason" for guys. I'm sure you'll see some structure that is beneficial to both sides, but there's enough bodies I think HHH is comfortable working stories. Unlike Vince milking the same guys for TV & the same mid to low tier guys at house shows.

We’ve seen him do it before during the cena feud. He would film in the morning and get on a flight to raw.
