WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I read a very interested report from a guy that hit or misses on his sources, his latest was Orton winning the rumble which he spoiled correct.

But he says per his sources WWE are discussing Strowman beating Lesnar for the title convincingly the Monday after Mania.

What do you think of that scenario?

I think its horrible because it means Goldberg won the title.

I think that's already a given

Although, it'd be really surprising if they decided to build up Goldberg all these months, have Lesnar finally defeat him, only to have him squashed the following night.

I wouldn't mind having Strowman get a title run in the next year, but this would be an odd way to do it.

I see it as the monster torch being passed on to the next generation. Which I like. Strowman has been an amazing worker to the point where I can't see a single guy on the roster beating him cleanly. And then maybe losing to Balor in a David/Goliath scenario.

Lesnar is done with MMA and has retired. He will have more time in WWE this year

Paul Heyman decided to do a promo on CW Anderson
“As we sit here about 2 enjoy Korean BBQ, I decided 2 go against how I usually handle wannabes who like 2 name drop (after 16 years, no less). I saw an interview in which #CWAnderson claims I was in LA shooting #Rollerball instead of trying to save #ECW back in 2000. It’s absurd that people have done nothing to talk about in 17 years so they are constrained to address their heartbreak about 2000/01. Of course, that makes me an even bigger schmuck to feel compelled to ANSWER these moronic comments, but the food is cooking, so (1) Rollerball was never filmed in LA. It was filmed in Montreal and then in Yonkers, NY. (2) My scenes in Rollerball were shot in June and July, 2001. Not when #ECW was in business. I was actually booked for the movie thru @WWE. (3) The insinuation that I was shooting movie(s) in LA instead of trying to save what was my life (at the time) (#ECW) is just ignorant. (4) Not only did I desperately try every angle 2 save the company, I put in every last dime I personally had, even when the ship was sinking. (5) I have zero regrets over any of this. I went bankruipt trying to save #ECW, and have never regretted my investment and never will. (6) So when someone repeats a blatant lie about my comitment at the time to the product to which I devoted seven years of my life, it’s nothing short of ignorance on full display for the entire world to see. It’s a shame I waited this long to correct the record on this BS that has lingered for all these years, but I remember sitting on the @WWE plane with @VinceMcMahon and someone had said something so outlandish about him, and everyone was trying to get Vince to reply. He turned to me and said “I focus on revenue-producing public statements. Anything else is a waste of my time, and my time is limited. I have things to do.” I also sit there every week and see @BrockLesnar laugh at every rumor, every innuendo, every claim made about him And when I say “so, Brock … is there a retort?” He laughs out loud and says “not a chance!” So today, I decided to lower myself and answer a claim that people w/ nothing to do seem to repeat with no regard for accuracy. I accept all criticism 4 this diatribe, and confess I should have been above it all, and offer no excuses as to why I decided to address it. Oh I almost forgot. To answer #CW’s nagging self-question as to why he was paid $75 a night when others had more (at least on paper) That was the going rate for a lower level stooge who reported on the locker room to Dreamer. But admittedly, he was a damn good one. PROPS!”

Does anyone watch Progress? It's like 8 bucks a month and the work is amazing

If they were doing a passing of the torch, wouldn't it make more sense to actually have a build up?

Having Strowman win it the next night would be all kinds of bizarre

Drew Galloway Impact contract is expiring.anyone wanna see him back in the WWE?

would love to see the hardy's in the WWE.

Asuka is currently 149- in live events and tv.. will we actually have someone with a legit 173 straight wins?

It would be to start a feud and Angry Brock would be the build up for the next PPV. If they did it.

I'm assuming Brock is going to be on top of the world after a squash at WM and issues an open challenge after some cocky rant about being a monster. The Raw after Mania has been way better than the Mania a lot and had crazy shocking moments. Ziggler winning the belt for example.

After just having Lesnar lose a surprise squash match a few months ago, it'd be really stupid to have it happen again. I'm not saying it wouldn't be shocking, or that it won't happen, just that it makes zero sense, and accomplishes nothing.

There are other ways to start a feud besides having Strowman squash him, and take the title less than 24 hours after Lesnar winning it.

They literally just did the whole Goldberg thing with him squashing Brock.

What I am hoping is that Owens Retains and then loses the title to Lesnar on March 12th in Madison Square garden Live Show.

Owens would demand a rematch the following Monday and Goldberg reminds that Owens kept his title due to shenanigans and he should get the title.
Goldberg wins thanks to interference from Jericho.
Owens demands a Us title match.
3 weeks between Fastlane and WM

Lesnar then defends the title at WrestleMania and vanquishes Goldberg only to lose the title against Stroman. Stroman and Lesnar can then feud it out.

Send Finn Balor to the cruiserweight division against Neville.
Owens wins the US title at WrestleMania. ( Jericho would retain Title against Sami Zayn)

Owens can then feud with Zayn, Rollins or reigns.
