My favorite was the parasitic twin episode from season 2- the one where the retired freak show performers are being attacked in their community by what Mulder thinks is a Fiji mermaid.

Yes, that is still my favorite all time episode.

This week's episode was basically a parody of the MOTW episodes in the original series, I think. I liked it a lot, even if it contrasted quite a bit with the general tone of the series.

I'm sad this is only going to be six episodes, because so far it's a lot of fun having The X-Files back.

Yeah, MOTW episodes were generally campy, and they just upped the campiness with this one.

Haha they upped it by a lot. But I was okay with it. It was a fun episode. I actually found it to be kind of a pleasant surprise, because I honestly had no idea they were going to do MotW episodes at all during this run. I figured with six episodes, it'd be focused on one narrative. I also didn't watch the previews for this episode after last week's, so I wasn't expecting it going in either.

Possibly the best theme song of all time. Never watch a single minute of x files. I feel like everyone knows of it, nobody watches it..

Am I intrigued? Yes...
