XBOX 360 "Ring of Death"

Hi:

My brothers 360 bit the dust the other day with the ring of death (where you boot it up and the 3 red rings come on). can anybody fix this? he would greatly appreciate it.

Mine broke three weeks ago and am getting it tommorrow there is videos online that you can look up but i would recomend sending it in. It takes about two or three weeks ( im guessing ohio so it would be three) but its alot better to just send it im.

Are you getting ALL the rings lit?

Because if three are lit, it just means your cords aren't plugged in all the way.

I had that happen to me.. And I freaked. But I turned my old one in(which was starting to go), and I got an Xbox Elite.

I remember the first time i got my 360 on 2007 Christmas. First time i turned it on, it started blicking and went red i was freakin out. But it was just the cords.

Just send it in to Xbox, hopefully when you call you dont get a person who barely knows english.

If you have a Intercooler, it voids the warranty.

They said sometimes they give you your 360 sometimes a used one and my friend got a 360 back and had a brand new one.

One tip when the computer starts talking just start saying random words because you will have to talk to someone anyways so it just speeds it up. You also have to use your own box (not the one you bought it in) and they will send you a diff box back.

Yeah i heard about the coffin was sent to people but i just sent mine in a couple of weeks ago and i had to use my own box.
