XCLUSIVE: Goodbye Charlie?, OBR Article

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
See I Like peterson, but he has made it clear he wants to be in texas. He knows about Cleveland but has not expressed any love toward us. Where as Quinn has. He grew up in Dublin, Ohio. He Loves the browns. He worked with charlie weis who worked with romeo not all that long ago. He said out loud that he would love to be taken by the Browns. I want guys who want to be here. In the long run they play better and are more willing to stay longer. Peterson is great but I have this image of him breaking a bone in Practice. Quinn is not injury prone. He is a beast child, Just like lebron. Look how Cleveland embrasses Lebron. Not only for his skills on the court but also because he is from Ohio. Same thing with Quinn. Franchise type guy who is from Ohio and will keep the fans coughing up the cash money for all of the above dealing with the browns. We need a quaterback in this draft. The depth of Qb is about 3 or 4 greats and then a bunch of charly frye type guys. Where as running backs theres a shit ton of em. I like guys like Pittman, Wolfe, that back out of Auburn, Hunt, flordia's back, I dont know theres alot of good ones. All right enough typeing.

Damn it, CDT brought Tebow's name up... I'm the one that rehashed the pic of his busty chick :chuckles:

His g/f is hot..Gator Cheerleaders are hot in general..

I think if we add some more depth on the line that takes out Joe Thomas..seeing how Phil doesn't prefer to draft OL that high and there is some serious talent at the end of the 1st round and early in the 2nd..

If we add Lewis and keep Droughns I see us passing on AP

I don't see Calvin as the pick unless circumstances prevail

I could see us deciding to deal down with Az Minny Houston or something and trying to nab Branch and Jamaal Anderson to revamp the D-Line unless Quinn is still there then he's undoubtably the selection. Picking up another solid O-Lineman of the bunch in Round 2 and seeing what corners are there in Rd 3..

I think the only sure bet is we're taking a lineman of some sort in Rd one of these guys has to still be there...

Ben Grubbs G, Aaron Sears T, Ryan Kalil C (Fraley to G) Justin Blalock G, Tank Tyler DT, Justin Harrell DT

That's the slam dunk the first round is anyones guess..

If we don't get a franchise qb this year, do we take one next year and who? Brohm doesn't impress me

I really see us taking Quinn or AP.

Hey, I hate him, but Henne is projected to be the second best QB avail next year. John David Booty from USC, also that hawaii QB who is setting all sorts of records, Colt Brennan.

Next years RB's though would most likely be Mcfadden, Hart and Slaton.

I am pulling for AP. I need some excitement on this team. Last year was so sad, we really need a game breaker. Last year the most exciting play of nearly every game was a Cribbs kick return. AP would supply me with a little hope.

Thank you Thank you

I too would like AP but I think I'd prefer Quinn over Booty and especially Henne..Henne has never impressed me..maybe because they've never beaten us but still..

Quinn + McFadden > AP + Booty > AP + Henne
Quinn + Slaton > AP + Booty > AP + Henne
Quinn + Hart > AP + Booty > AP + Henne

Slaton and McFadden are close and could be better than AP but Quinn blows Henne and John Booty away..I'd add Brohm in there but my optimism won't let me believe we're picking in the top 5 again :uhh: 6 wins got us the 12th pick last year...so here's to 5 or 6 and a good RB next year..

If we trade away Frye, get a vetern Qb, what are the chances we get Troy Smith in the 3rd or 4th. Trent Green is available. He be nice for a two year deal.

I say this year we concentrate on offensive line, and if charlie does as bad as he has been doing behind a decent line, then pursue a different quarterback. He hasn't looked great, but he is always being chased.

In the first round either pick Joe Thomas, CJ, or AP. If Thomas isn't there, trade with the vikes or texans and pick AP or Levi Brown.

Joe Thomas has to be #1 on the big board.

Green hasn't been mentioned nor have the Browns expressed any interest in Green...

Regardless if Frye stays or not Smith in the 4th is still a very real option...

Troy Smith is useless.

For being a tackling dummy, you guys sure are hating on Frye. He really hasn't been given a fair shake, but then again neither did Timmy Couch. It should be interesting to see what we do with him.
