Here's the deal:
The complaining on here about Dwight Howard reminds me INTENSELY of the complaining that Wizards fans did about LeBron after each of their beatdowns.
Take that for what is guys.
Most religious people are full of shit. Preach one thing and do the opposite. You can't hate on a guy for saying the right thing, you know? You say the right thing you are seen as fake and get bashed, you're honest you get bashed, too.

to be honest, for me at least, my hatred of lebron comes from everything he does off the court. he kicked the shit out of us last season in that series and i can respect that because the dude is a man-beast on the court and has all the athletic ability in the world. why should i hate him for being too good for us? he was just playing his game and dominating us
to me, lebron just seems very fake off the court and in his public presence. whether it be the whole King James thing when he came into the league and turning around and knocking up a girl out of wedlock or his constant need for attention by doing stupid shit and now his whole chalk thing based off of Michael Jordan...he just rubs me the wrong way
See how easy that was? See what I mean?
Anyone can say the right thing, that is why is more important doing it. And DH shouldn't be hated for beating us. But as sports fans of course we can dislike our enemies. Seize, you are next (jk).
yea i got you - and i think lebron is very fake in that sense as well (if he would just show his real personality in the public, more people would like him)...i dont know howard like i know lebron (i went to school with him for three years) and maybe he's like lebron in that his non-limelight presence is much more likeable (at least for me), but i just cant stand his perceived fakeness

Few guys are "real" off the court. Everyone has to try and say the right thing. If every athlete started being real, we'd dislike A LOT of them. Also, how do we know if what they are seeing is fake or "seems" fake? We don't know these guys off the court, so when we see their personalty it might appear fake to us because we're not around it all the time. Some guys can be the nicest, most real guys on camera , but off the court they have been complete assholes.
I never really got the impression that LeBron is any more fake in public than any other celebrity. Granted, the guy tends to say the right thing rather than mouthing off the large majority of the time. I guess that could be perceived as fake. Other than that though, he seems like a pretty genuine dude.
Did you say you went to HS with LeBron or Dwight?
I don't presume to "hate" anyone that I don't know but I make an exception for Kevin Garnett. I honestly hate this man with every fiber of my being.
