Okay, I understand what you are saying... but why the hell add a thumbs up? That means you have massive approval for the travesty that would be a Yankees sweep of the WS.
 
Yanks in 6. If they beat Clifton in Game 1, then Yanks in 5.
 
Honestly, I hope the Yankees win. The only way the necessary changes happen in baseball is if there are no excuses for Selig and Co; if they get any reason to say small market teams have a chance, they won't change things. It just comes down to the Yankees not turning a 120 win payroll into a sub 100 win team for once.

Get your riot punch ready (temporary) Phillies fans, this one should go 6 or 7. If I had money riding on these games I'd go with the Yankees but I hope the Phillies win.

I think you know where I am going with this and what my answer is.


Nice duel tonight- the ugly ending (the Phillies' breaking out against the Yanks' pen and the 9th inning error that led to the Yankee run) was bit of a mar on a nice pitcher's duel. I think not only beating the Yanks' best pitcher in game 1, but also getting to a bullpen that wiggled out of countless jams in the Angels series- sets the Phillies up nicely. It also helps them avoid an 0-2 deficit leaving NY. And if the Phillies can pull this one tomorrow out- I expect aa slugfest with Martinez and Burnett out there- a sweep is very possible.
 
Lee was unbelievable. 9 innings, 10 Ks, only run was on an error... man oh man Cliff.

This is exactly what I wanted to see, Lee dominating and CC showing his true colors lqtm.
