Yi Signs With Bucks

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
One pitcher doesn't cut it...

The Tribe has the 3rd best record in baseball, and would have the best record in the NL... The quality of teams in the NL just don't compare to the AL...

Look at the Twins for example.. They're record (.500-ish) is on par with that of the Cubs/Brewers, and they're 9 games out of 1st place...

Ben Sheets would be 2nd in the rotation on that team...

I like Ben Sheets, but you can't rely on a guy who has more seasons cut short by injury (4) than he does full healthy seasons (3), the last of which was in 2004. He may be a great guy. He may have a great locker room presence. But, if he can't be the leader on the field for them all season, then you have happen exactly what did: no direction. Or, if he is the undeniable leader of this team and he goes down, which seems inevitable at this point, someone absolutely needs to step up, or the team will fall. Plus, it's hard to prove you are the leader on a team when you miss 1/3 of your starts, or more, almost every season.

I think Sheets has great stuff, and is a good pitcher, but, if he doesn't get the injuries straightened out, he's going to be another "coulda, shoulda, woulda" guy like Herb Score.

This guy could very possibly be an all-star, 1.3 billion Chinese is a hell of a lot of voting power.

The Ben Sheets prolonged injury doomed the pitching staff. The guy is the team's leader from the bump. First game back (no rehab mind you) and he goes into Chicago and outduels Carlos Zambrano.

As goes Sheets, as go the Brewers.

He's back now so let's see what happens.

The whole TEAM relies on somebody that pitches every 5 games. RRRRIIIGGGHHHTTT.

Getting better and better...

It's all relative. You guys have DH's...different game. Put the Indians in the NL and their record wouldn't be nearly as good.

All that by playing with one of the worst National Teams out there.

I dont see any Milwaukee colors in those clips.

I'm loving Yi vs Sister of The Poor highlight avvies

Those clips were against the Melbourne Tigers of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). Those guys are semi professional players. Thats like us getting excited with a Shannon Brown slam on a club team from Panama.

If Bogut doesn't stop whining and step up his game, perhaps the Bucks can trade him to the Tigers for a soiled uniform.

There you go...let it out. He's a crybaby, you need more from a #1 overall pick than 11 and 8. Too bad you missed Dwight by a year...
