You know what...F&*$ it

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All I want is 15 players who will play their hearts out.

Get rid of the rest.

I'm not supporting this team to get my heart torn out every fuckin' game because LeBron apparently has certain plans.

Look, I hate Kobe and he is a selfish bastard but he never quitted in such a situation. Kobe would fucking win a championship and then do whatever he wants to do. Hate the guy as much as you want but he proved that he is a winner.

LeBron, on the other hand, is doing no more than his best T-Mac impersonation. I'm honestly disgusted. I'm disgusted not as a fan, but as a human being. This is just too much for me.

You would have loved the Miracle at Richfield group, but they still ultimately just broke everyone's heart.

Don't remember that group, but it sure seemed like the Price-Daugherty teams certainly left everything they had on the floor. As much as the annual review of "The Shot" pains me, it doesn't (and never did) tick me off to the degree that these last few losses have.

Does that kid have a "#1 Steelers Fan" plaque hanging from his wall?

Fuck Lebron. I'd rather watch a team that at least gives effort out there than someone who could be the greatest ever give no effort.

Sure he has.

Actually, I don't care if Kobe quit on this team, I don't want LeBron to do it! We have the right pieces to win a championship this year. This team is not playing like the really want it, especially LeBron in this series.

I don't want LeBron to quit on my favorite team thats supposed to win a championship! I don't care about his damn ego.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. Now I realize that there really are more important things than watching every Cavs game.

The Price-Daugherty teams were frustrating as well. In crunch time, it was like they were playing "hot potato" -- nobody wanted to take the big shot. Except Larry Nance. And I recall watching them get blown out once by the Bulls during the playoffs, and seeing Ehlo actually laughing on the floor.

Does this remind anyone of Vince Carter in Toronto?

Cleveland, dont give up on LeBron yet. He's goin through somethin right now... and Nobody knows what it is... But it's not the end of the world. I dont know if it is pressure, the expectations, the injury, or sabatoge(? doubt it), but I do know that you get through it... It was a heavy feelin, when Shaq bailed on Orlando. We were so close. So stay strong. My guess is just the expectations are soo high for him right now. It's hard when every single moment of your career is under the microscope. Alot of people leaning on him. Maybe he's feelin like he just cant catch a break for anything, right now with the injury and the scrutiny. The weight of the expectations on top of it, probably just gives him the 'fuck it' attitude as well. Like he cant win. It will be alright though. His situation makes me think of this song. Win or lose, this world is bigger than just basketball.

Maybe if you updated your damn sig, we'd win a game :chuckles:

i think all of us are allowd to vent considering the investments we have in the team and city both emotionlly and financially. I think more than anything else, Im mad at myself, for once again getting caught up in the hype and the promise of championship caliber play by another cleveland team despite my better judgement. i dont know why i expected anything else but a total collapse from a team fielded by cleveland, its what we do best. murder is the only word i can use to describe the actions i was on the brink of yesterday. I honestly, for health reasons, feel i need to take a step back from sports as well. with a strained voice and week heart, i can only imagine all the extra time id have for all other passions and hobbys. time that was once wasted on reading countless articles, blogs and yes even posting and reading this site to no end... i could probably fit in a second job. the saddest part is, i was hoping that my father would one day witness a championship in his lifetime. i know some of us sound like the sky is falling, but its not like i havent been waiting for this my whole life... somebody just mail me anthrax.

I was proud of what they accomplished, but I was also aware of what they were trying to overcome, whether we're talking Chones's injury, Price's injury, Ehlo's injury, Hughes's injury, LeBron's injury ... Jordan getting every whistle ... or guys like Brad and Mo coming up small when we needed them to come up big.

Do you remember how well the P&D Cavs looked in the regular season when they were at their best? They were blowing teams out left and right including the Bulls, so you have to temper the fact that they played hard in the playoffs with the fact that they only got out of the first round of the playoffs 2x out of 7 attempts.

If you were expecting those teams to win it all, you would have ended up even more disappointed. LeBron has raised expectations through the roof. But back then, I was just enjoying the ride, like I'm doing right now.

Maybe it ends tonight, but hopefully not...

Well...LeBron has no excuses tonight. He's had plenty of rest considering that he hasn't played since Game 3.
