You know what...F&*$ it

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Crack: Depression, Low Moods, Angry after use. Expensive hobby. Nothing good comes from it at the end of the day.

Cleveland Sports fan: Depression, Low Moods, Angry after use. Expensive hobby. Nothing good comes from it at the end of the day.

I'm not letting my son become a crack addict nor will i let him be a cleveland sports fan. I want a better life for him

I feel an odd sense of peace right now. I have no idea why. I guess my mood lately has been too tied to what the Cavs were doing (or more appropriately, the lack of what they were doing). Now that this clusterF&*$ is finally over, I can finally be back to the person I normally am for my wife and kids which I'm sure they'll appreciate.

Like the team, I guess I'm just following LeBron's lead - can't give too much of a damn when they didn't.

Funny you guys say this. I was telling my buddies that if/when I have a kid, I will not raise him/her a Cleveland sports fan. I would rather my son be a gay ballerina than have to suffer watching this shit every year. :chuckles: At least he would be happy instead of miserable.

Also, I was thinking about the ONE "positive" of LeBron leaving..... If he leaves, it will allow most, if not all of us to become normal people again.

The Cavs would turn into what the Browns and Tribe are and nobody would care or freak out when they win or lose and spend countless hours thinking and reading about them. I would not be extremely pissed or depressed after being eliminated every year either.

If he leaves, I can become a normal person and not an obsessive sports fan who spends hours of time every day thinking about the Cavs.

That is the one positive if he leaves. There will be no more hope, but there will also be no more pain.

It's better to have loved and lost than to have never have loved at all.

That was truly disappointing. It doesn't hurt though...at least now we don't have to support a team that seems to play with no heart or sense of purpose.
If I could only claw back the money I paid for NBA League Pass, I would just go on leaving like a normal person again and enjoy the summer

The Drive
The Shot
The tank

the three worst things in Cleveland sports history (I'm sure you guys can name a lot more than me though lol). LeBron James just quit and cost us a championship, I want him to go I can't stand it. For every good game he has there are 10 average ones and a mediocre one.

I've been reading many of the posts over the last 24 hours and have the same thoughts and feeling that you all do.

Based on what I have read there is a contingent of RCFers that no longer want LeBron and want to move on, I respect that position , however, I have a different reaction.

#@#$ it all, LeBron, Cavs, NBA, and professional sports teams in Cleveland!

I'm 32, I've been lucky enough (or sadistic) where I have personally attended:The Shot, MJ 69 point game, The Shot II, Game 3 of the World 1997, Game 3-5 2007 ALCS, Game 1 ECF 2009 v Magic, and Games 2 and 5 with the Celtics. Like others have mentioned, I have a good job, a wonderful wife, and a great life.

I already have deposit for tickets a partial Cavs plan for 2010-2011 (required for my playoff tickets), so I'm locked in next year whether or not LeBron is here. I'll honor that commitment, but I won't be buying anymore tickets after that. I've already completely disconnected myself from the Indians ... I watch the Browns on TV more out of habit and because there really isn't anything else on TV. I will be more of a casual fan that won't making large financial or time commitment anymore

We finally get the best player in the league, have deep playoff runs, best records, franchise records, NBA records, and even a Finals appearance .... and even with all of that ..... even with a system where the home team can offer the most money to a free agent in his hometown .... if LeBron still leaves, then am I done.

I'm done watching our best players (and even hometown players!) take the first train out of town whenever they possibly can. Some of you may think I'm a bandwagon fan for thinking this way. I thought is would be near impossible that LeBron would sign elsewhere given the NBA salary cap rules, yet here we are ....

with the potential of having another dubious distinction... the only NBA team to have their free agent spurn a max contract for another team.... that happens, I'm done!

I heard Peter Gammons report that MLB is encourage three franchises to consider relocation Tampa Bay, Oakland As, and yes the American League Charter Member Cleveland Indians. I could see a similar situation for the Cavs in 5-10 years .... especially if there are other fans like me, who would be done with it all.
