but who's gonna beat us??? 15 in a row, but now im thinkin 20 after 2nite. peace out bitches!!

If the Knicks pull off the biggest miracle possible and win Saturday, you should be banned from receiving rep points for a long period of time. :chuckles:

Don't really care at this point. I'm ready for the playoffs. I saw this show last season.

If we get there, you will care when Game 6 and 7 are at home instead of on the road or vice versa.

Again, until this team has a real point guard, LeBron should have the ball in his hands.

We're seeing a lot less of LeBron calling for the ball on the wing while everyone else stands and watches. He's initiating the offense, and getting everyone involved. This is all without arguably our 2nd and 3rd best offensive players (if you disregard Shaq). Imagine us with Iggy or Amare or even Jamison? Holy shitballs. Imagine us with a true PG like DWill or CP3?? Godly.

Whether or not you agree with Nicky_Stats infamous "Mo Thread", his concern/idea is noted. The less we rely on Mo to be the 2nd option, and thusly the less he has the ball in his hands initiating the offense, the better our team plays as a whole.

I will, but I am losing interest in the games themselves. Like I said, I saw this story last year. Flying high all season, blowing people out...it's all fun, but I want to see the damage these guys can do in the playoffs. That's when the season starts.

You've got to enjoy this while you can. Even if Lebron leads us to 10 straight titles, you should savor every game of every one. There's just no telling how many truly enjoyable pro sports moments you might get to see in a lifetime.

Just to be sufficiently anal, they did completely destroy two teams in the playoffs.

This is a once in a lifetime window in Cleveland sports history, dude. Sit back and enjoy it all.

I soaked in all I could with the Tribe in the mid-90's so when times are like they are now, I can remember the good ol' days. These are the good ol' days, my friend. Don't fast forward through anything. Especially if, God forbid, this is the last year Lebron is on this team.

I was looking back over the schedule and here's a very sobering thought.

The last four losses the Cavs had were:

(1) @ Utah, lost by 1 (it took a last second desperation three from an NBDL rookie for Utah to pull it out)
(2) @ Denver, lost by 2 (the Cavs held a 3pt lead with 1:35 to go and then their defense fell apart... how often does THAT happen???)
(3) vs Charlotte, lost by 3 (the Cavs played with ZERO heart this game and even so the game was tied with 1:00 to go)
(4) @ Dallas, lost by 7 (... to a Nowitzki-less Mavs team.... WTF???)

In other words, those were 4 games they should have won but that they let get away.

IF the Cavs had played like they should have, we're not in here talking about a 10-game winning streak. We're talking about a 29-game winning streak with the chance to extend it to 33 games while they're still at home!

Think about that for just a minute. This team had a realistic chance to be sitting on a 29-game winning streak. As it is, they've won 8 in a row without their starting PG and 2nd leading scorer... and 7 in a row without their back-up PG and 2nd best all-around player.

No matter how you slice it, this team is DEEP and DAMN GOOD!

WHY are you so negative? You should ENJOY watching a great team play. If not, why not just come back here in June, I mean why waste your time if you don't care??

I have season tickets, and my seven year old is a HUGE Cavs fan, he has been to 18 of the games so far this year and even if we are up by 25 pts with 2 minutes to go he will not let us leave the game, he has to see EVERY minute. I guess My main point is it is much more fun to be 7 :) And to enjoy the ride.

As for homecourt...I don't think it is that important this year. In fact I want the Lakers to get home court for the finals, because I really see us winning in 5 games and I want to go to 3 home games in the finals. And to be honest I would prefer to play the Lakers instead of the Nuggets...that is just me though.

the truth comes out in drunk posts.

speaking of the 90s tribe, i was just thinking earlier that this team reminds me of them. they are expected to win every game. and the players come out every night with a certain swag and arrogance like they can't lose. i always wonder how the cavs can play so intense on defense, but still give off the vibe that it's effortless, and even fun.

there is no team in the league playing at this level right now. i don't know what's gonna happen after all star break, what teams will make trades (celtic? jazz?), what teams will start to develop better chemistry (magic?), but i can guarantee we will win out until the all star break. after break we start a tough schedule, but if we are still playing at this level we hit 20.

Oh, I don't recall beating the Lakers last year. Nor do I recall beating good teams last year. Remember, though you saw this last season...

This thread is a jinx... who's gonna be injured next?

Don't really care at this point. I'm ready for the playoffs. I saw this show last season.

But this season has bonus episodes like

Andy Nails A Clutch 3
JJ Hickson Catches Ball, Dunks on Wade
Howard Tastes Shaq's Ass
Cavs Massacre Lakers at Home
Shaq Kisses a Baldwin
Cavs Rape Lakers Without 2nd Leading Scorer
Gibson Keeps Shooting...and They Go In!

Bet you didn't see those episodes last year.
