You think I have problems

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: You think we have problems

I have to agree with LJ4MVP that it's difficult to say the team has NO heart: they could have easily lain down and given up for dead after that miserable first half against the Sixers.

On the other hand I also agree that on an individual basis we have a bunch of players who do NOT bring intensity and passion every night. I think Snow and AV try to bring it every nithg (Snow just sucks ball and so doesn't have much to give). After that it's a bit of a crap shoot who will show up

Re: You think we have problems

They did it, and they did it without Lebron.

Re: You think we have problems

And they've done it many, many times with LeBron.

Yeah I guess they didn't show heart against GS or coming back from Boston with Lebron. Lebron's willed this team to more victories then I can count and a win against a bad team in Philly who were a bit shellshocked from having to deal with a player they didn't know much about (Gibson) should not make people forget that.

Re: You think we have problems

LeBron has plenty of heart....can he give it to us every game...in the regular season

so far it has been in and out....but sorry I will not say that Wade is soooo much better than LeBron because of it cause it is not a true statement

and the first year with Wade they had a decent ear for sure....he also didnt have Ira Newble as his starting PG but he had a decent year

again I am not hating on Wade because I think he is an amazing player but I also believe he gets too much credit where Shaq doesnt get enough for Miamis success...

Re: You think we have problems

Wade was on a damn good team his rookie year, nobody seems to remember that.

And LJ, you putting that quote in your sig like it's supposed to knock Wade, is laughable. It shows you have never played and don't really understand basketball.

If you are a PLAYER, you are a SELF-MOTIVATOR. If you need someone else to get you ready to play, you shouldn't be playing.

That's a qoute from a famous coach, look it up.

You completely missed the very reason I put that quote there - it was to highlight the hypocrisy of some on this board. I knew certain people would defend wade - the same people that rip LeBron.

If you don't think LeBron is a leader, then you are the one who doesn't understand basketball.

I thought you said the Cavs were going to win this game, and it was going to be 75 and sunny...

What happened, LeMagic 8Ball ?

Re: You think we have problems

We had it in reach, we let up for a minute, they blew up the lead. There's no margin for error against Phoenix.

Okay, I agree with that..

How about we put down the prediction juice for a little while... The total opposite seems to happen on a lot of these...:)

LJ4MVP is a bot designed by Dan Gilbert in an attempt to stabilize Cavaliers Message boards...

I made the prediction based on something I've noticed over the last year or two - just when the fans are the most down on the team, we generally pull out a big win against a top team. Plus, it seemed like Phoenix was due for a loss.

In the post game show, they pointed out that despite their record and their winning streaks, Phoenix has not beat Dallas or San Antonio this year. That sounded bad for them until I saw they've only had 3 total games against them, and two were the first 10 days of the season when Amare was struggling.

It'll be interesting to see if this suns team proves the critics wrong and gets past those teams in the playoffs this year. They sure look like a scary team the two times we played them. No margin for error at all against them and we have some margin of error against pretty much everyone else.

We looked up at the scoreboard at one point and every player on the court for them had double digits while we had 2 guys on the court who hadn't even scored.

Re: You think we have problems

Both teams scored 30+ points in the 2nd and 3rd. The Cavs only scored 13 in the 4th. Hand it to their D, or our inability to sustain 4 quarters at that speed.

They can be beaten by playing their tempo, but not by us ...

Re: You think we have problems

They are really, really hard to beat at their tempo because let up for a minute and they blow open a lead, and they are good at getting teams to start playing that way, because for a few minutes, or even a couple of quarters, teams can have success playing their tempo. But that leads to that one to two minute lapse on offense not having the roster of shooters they have and they pounce on the other end of the court.

Before our late-season push last year, a lot of the good teams we beat forgot about us because they didn't see us as a threat. Things are different this year- every Western conf. team wants to take down the East's best team. We can't rely on that "law of averages" logic (due for a loss) to eke out wins anymore.
