Your 2018 Cleveland Indians

At this point, anyone who doesn't statistically give up a HR every other inning is an upgrade

Speaking of which, any reason to be concerned about Kluber's high HR rate this year?

Big Poppa Plut is a guy who gives up quite a few dongs.

Pitches up, high FB rate.

You take the good with the bad, but hopefully he can work with Gomes/Perez a bit to straighten that out.
Sounds like Tomlin :chuckle:

Hopefully more like good 2015/2016 Tomlin and less like bad current Tomlin.

Chisenhall went 2-2 with a double at Columbus tonight. I would assume he'll be back for the weekend series against Houston.

Great news, for some reason I didn't think he was even close to being back.

I forgot Jizz even existed.

Hopefully it can pitch the 7th.

I don’t know if this is still the case but I recall hearing that his velocity was down a tick on opening day. Not sure if it still is but if that’s the case I wonder if there’s a correlarion.

Would love to hear some insight on that

His ERA is 2.36...I'm sure his advanced stats show that he's been a stud as well. Until that changes I am not worried about anything regarding Corey Kluber.

The only thing that's really out of place is his FIP is lower and his k/9 is lower but not all that significantly and it certainly can go back to his normal freaky ranges with only a few good starts.

You seemed to remember just fine last night.
I went to a game last summer against the white sox and everyone in the outfield seats were calling him chickenballs. Was actually kinda funny like the first 5 times . . .

They would be the kind of nickname a true bro would take as one's own.
