Your 2018 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So best case scenario he misses all of Spring Training and is getting back into baseball activities right around Opening Day, woof

CF defense certainly takes a hit. With Lonnie down, Zimmer down, Melky on the team, Allen playing wiffle ball, OF help is mandatory.

Someone needs to talk to him about blasting into walls during reg season games. Everyone likes reckless abondon, but you have to be smart about it.
A shoulder injury in baseball is no joke either- there’s no guarantee he ever makes it back.

Pretty sure he hurt his shoulder in batting practice or workouts/drills, not blasting into a wall

I'm still holding out hope for a bat in RF and a defensive specialist in CF.

As far as CF go, any chance for someone like Kevin Pillar, Leonys Martin or Billy Hamilton? I realize Hamilton hits like Greg Allen... but if he's just a rental, he shouldn't cost much, and he's an upgrade defensively, right?

What about Kieirmaier? His stats are WAY down this year at the plate. Any chance Tampa wants to get out from that contract?

In RF, my hopes are high for Adam Jones or Andrew McCutchen... I feel like I'm going to be disappointed with the result.

Pillar went on the DL right before the All Star break and I believe is supposed to be out through August.

I don't think we're the type of team to take on Kiermaier's contract, nor is Tampa the type of team to eat a lot of the dollars on it.

I don’t see the point in acquiring a defensive specialist in CF when we already have plus defensive options out there.

Would be great to sweep the Pirates. With their win streak they may not be sellers anymore, but they have a few OFs I'd be interested in.

Do we?

Greg Allen seems average, and Raj seems below average at this point. Zimmer is out.

I'd say both of them have been above average this year. Rajai is a better player than Billy Hamilton IMO

I don't see the point in acquiring somebody unless they provide a significant upgrade at the plate.

Too bad Kevin Pillar is all banged up, because he's definitely the kind of guy that I'd like the Indians to jump on.
